But you get all arsey about him moving to Chelsea when he made it clear he wanted to join Chelsea, before Liverpool put the bid in.

Lavia is a strange one, it's a different story, and i do agree he would have been better off going to Liverpool for more games. But again, money is a big factor.

And? He's young, if he performs and RM or someone come in with a massive bid in 3 years or something then it's just good business. We'll earn money back on him. Chelsea are the ones taking the huge risk.

it's too close to the end of the window for liverpool to entertain it now, but january or next season and it willl likely happen

The Slim Reaper 24-08-2023 07:55 PM

I think next summer he'll want to get out, and I wouldn't blame him. A club with zero ambition doesn't deserve one of the greatest of his generation.

There’s plenty of time .. it’s not as though all the teams don’t have contingency plans

If Liverpool sell Salah now, then they'll make Chelsea of last season, look like cities 100 point team.

the window closes next friday, thats very little time to replace their best player

Zizu 24-08-2023 08:06 PM

Anyways

I can’t see Salah being daft enough to join a club who are currently at loggerheads with their two recent buys .. Benzema and Jota

He earns £350k/wk at Liverpool. The Saudis want to pay him that every day. His agent has already said he has no interest in leaving, but my worry is FSG accepting a bid.

bots 24-08-2023 08:11 PM

yes, if Saudi offer a silly transfer fee FSG may jump on it. I'm sure the glazers would do it

I don't understand why you go on about the glazers and money all the time. Until last season, no one in world football had spent as much on transfers as united (since Fergie left in 2013), and ETH already has a net spend larger than Klopps entire Liverpool career. Just doesn't make sense why you would have these fears.

Saudi champions Al Ittihad would be willing to make Mohamed Salah one of the best-paid players in the world with a salary package worth about £1.5m a week.

They would also be prepared to pay Liverpool a transfer fee of more than £100m.

Tottenham are one of the clubs that have been alerted to the availability of Portuguese winger Jota, 24, only two months after becoming Al-Ittihad's club record signing.
