Nitin Ganatra interview about the arrival of his character Masood Ahmed's brother AJ:).
http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...interview.html |
To be honest, I think the Masoods have had their day. They have had every possible storyline thrown at them and I really don't see what else can be done with them...
|
I missed EE last night, it was good last week, and week before,
I didn't even know EE was on Tonight on 8:30 |
Kat is such a bad slut, Alfie needs to get rid for good and get with Roxy

This is a complaint sent in from a Digital Spy member in regard to Wednesday's episode:

Dreadful episode. Everything about it was wrong.
-We HATE you Kat Moon, we do....honestly what a pathetic excuse for a storyline, the whole episode was just her whoring herself out to everyone, I can't even believe they thought this was a good storyline at all. It's a complete disgrace....it's making all the men look like rabid dogs and all the women like desperate sluts who should just cheat on their husbands because they have low self esteem. What kind of moral/story is this telling? It's ok to cheat and act like a *****?? LOLA!!! What is wrong with this child? Breaking and entering whilst on a prison curfew? Really?! She actually thought it was OK to break into a pub with a prison tag around her ankle? MY GOSH. Again what kind of story is this telling? Being a teen mum on the verge of imprisonment means you are above the law....?! What ridiculousness is that? Jay...after all the fuss he made over Abi we have to watch him flirting with Lola then kissing her? Yet another pointless dreadful storyline where we have to watch affairs and debauchery play out yet again. And then we have Ben....writing 'I miss you Heather' in her birthday card....you killed her, moron! FFS. I just cannot even talk about that any longer. What a disgrace. This episode was a complete mess and a joke. Kat may as well have stripped naked on the bar and shouted 'oi me husband ain't up to much and I'm just a slapper any way and I fancy some c**k...any takers?'....Just ****. Sorry to rant, and some of the bad grammar, but that episode was by far one of the worst I've ever ever seen from EE. It felt like a joke and a slap in the face from BK. It literally felt like it was making a mockery of all the viewers. Just absolute trash. I can't even rate this episode. |
EE going down the incest route again with Joey and Lucy I see :bored:
|
Apparently this 'whos shagging Kate?' storyline is gonna go on until way into September... awful awful.

Shona McGarty suspended from 'EastEnders' for persistent lateness
Shona McGarty has been suspended from EastEnders for four weeks, it has been confirmed. The 20-year-old, who plays Whitney Dean on the Walford soap, was punished after being previously warned about her persistent lateness to arrive on set, according to the Daily Star Sunday. She was reportedly told of her suspension personally by EastEnders executive producer Lorraine Newman, who was said to have "read the riot act" to McGarty after the actress's behaviour irritated cast members and crew. A BBC source revealed to the paper: "Shona failed to turn up on time on more than one occasion and was really laid back about why she was late. People are understanding when it's once or even twice but her lateness was becoming a huge problem. "It regularly held up the filming of vital scenes and angered fellow cast and crew members who were forced to work late because of her. Like all soaps, everyone works long, hard days so when things are prolonged because of one person it doesn't go down well on set. "There were a lot of unhappy people so Lorraine had no choice but to take action. Shona was read the riot act and apologised for her behaviour. Obviously, she's not happy about what's happened and was quite upset about it all afterwards." An EastEnders spokesperson also confirmed: "Shona has been suspended for repeatedly being late." McGarty was previously reported to have got herself into trouble after throwing yoghurt around in a branch of Asda in March, along with boyfriend and co-star Matt Lapinskas (Anthony Moon). http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...-lateness.html |

EastEnders' Alfie, Kat 'to close down Queen Vic due to fleas()
The Queen Vic will reportedly be closed down in an upcoming storyline in EastEnders. Kat (Jessie Wallace) and Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) will struggle with finances after the pub has to be fumigated due to a flea infestation, according to The Sun. The closure and subsequent money issues will add to the ongoing marriage problems between the pair. "This is a huge blow for Kat and Alfie," a source said. "They've been struggling to make ends meet and lose thousands while the pub is shut. "They have no idea who brought the fleas in and are determined to get to the bottom of it." The pub's usual patrons are then reluctant to return following the infestation, the source added. "They were scared of spreading the insect invasion to their own homes. "Kat and Alfie's relationship has been strained for months and this only adds to their problems." Kat Moon is currently embroiled in a secret affair with an unknown Walford resident, unbeknownst to her husband Alfie. http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/soaps/s2...-to-fleas.html Oh great, more miserableness from Kat and Alfie  |

Rudolph Walker has said that it is important for EastEnders to retain its sense of humour.
The 72-year-old, who has played Patrick Trueman on the soap for 11 years, said that there are still many moments of levity on the show, despite its somewhat miserable reputation. Walker is quoted as telling Inside Soap that this is the reason he is still happy to work on the programme, despite his advancing years. He said: "The camaraderie keeps me going. Being in EastEnders is challenging at this stage in my career, and the demands are far greater than they used to be. "Turning up on set every day and keeping the character fresh is hard work, but I do it with a smile. "As long as Patrick continues to run the gauntlet of emotions and there's humour in the show, I'll be happy." Walker said last year that he would "never retire" from EastEnders, arguing that actors are supposed "to drop down on the job". Patrick has recently been left distraught by Heather Trott's murder, but things start looking up for him when he embarks on a fling with Tanya Branning's mother Cora Cross. Walker commented: "Patrick enjoys the thrill of the chase - and the conquest! "He'll continue to investigate the prospect and see what happens between him and Cora." |
BK's reign had it's positive and negative points but he did inject some light hearted fun into the show at times and I think Lorraine Newman will continue this, good to have a balance although I love watching EastEnders when it is gritty and dark sticking to it's true roots.
