I've never really been a massive fan of the Rock.. Before the 2002 draft i was but after that i went of him completely.. just watching it growing up always thought the best three wrestlers were Kurt Angle, Chris Beniot and Chris Jericho.. i was always more interested in there matches more then Triple H, The Rock & Stone Cold.. just prefer their style a lot more.. Kurt Angle/Chris Jericho/Benoit - 2001 Era had some of the greatest matches i've ever seen to be honest

Novo 08-04-2011 01:28 AM

And this has got to be the best Promo of all time

Im the opposite completely, I hate Rock and Austin but I recently started wathing from 1997 onwards and they were the best thing to happen WWF then.... as was Taz (they completely destroyed his career, he could have had great feuds with Angle, Y2J and Benoit) but in all honesty looking back The Rock did so much for the fans and the business (not saying Y2J didnt, just he did it to a different audience).. I was a Triple H mark and now im the opposite, I dont care about him all that much, I'm definitely only watching WWE for The Rock at the moment, because everything else in WWE is horrific.

The Midcarders right now are more interesting then some of the Main eventers notably Edge and Dolph Ziggler, i think WWE don't really know how to use wrestlers these days which is why we haven't seen Drew been given a push or anything lately.. think they had the Idea of making him Champion last year with all the Chosen One and hand picked by Vince comments but nothing seems to be happening with him.. Same with Swagger really don't think they are sure what to do with him.. i think it was Karl who said back in the Attitude days everyone fitted their roles perfectly and everyone was so different and had much better Gimmicks and storylines to work with but now the storylines seem to be repeating themselves every month.. Orton punting everyone in the head.. Wade and the Corre facing random superstars without any purpose.... Dolph v Edge, LayCool and Vicki, Etc it's like they are afraid of changing things.

Iceman 08-04-2011 01:45 AM

Agree completely, I swear it's the PG era that has done this.... look back to then you had the Hardcore Title (that suited about 10-15 wrestlers, you could mess around with who had it because it wasn't that prestigious), then you had the lower card who would be in the European Bracket which was fair enough (if they had this now Drew would have had a long reign, purely to promote Scotland) then you'd have the same we have now for the IC and US except you'd have more competition instead of feuds getting stale like Sheamus and Bryan.....

Iceman 08-04-2011 01:55 AM

Actually the more I think of it, the more I'm annoyed that they got rid of the European belt, there must be more Europeans there now than there ever was when the belt was active....

off the top of my head, Wade, Drew, Sheamus, Santino....I'd say there's a few more too.

Jericho is a better wrestler, yeah, but Rock is a better worker. Just like Hogan is not really a talented wrestler but an excellent worker. Moreso than people give him credit for.

A worker is someone who can pop the crowd. Period.

I said " Y2J has and always will be a better wrestler then the Rock " and the post you Qouted as well. Never said anything about him being a better Worker the Rock can pull the fans round his finger after being gone for the best part of a decade.. don't know how many other wrestlers could do that but i don't watch wrestling to hear the Pops i watch wrestling to see great matches and IMO Chris Jericho has gave better matches then the rock and i don't think The Rock is dedicated to the Company as many people may think.

TNA Talents Hang Out w/ WWE Talents At WrestleMania

-- Ric Flair, Matt Hardy, Tommy Dreamer and Luke Gallows were visiting with the WWE crew after WrestleMania last night.

-- Former WWE talent Diamond Dallas Page, who was on hand for the WrestleMania XXVII festivities, left before the event started to fly home to deal with family matters.

After their match at WM, Stratus hugged Snooki and went to hug Morrison, but he had turned his back on her. He refused to listen to any of her suggestions and it hurt her feelings. Word quickly spread in the locker room, garnering heat.

While Morrison is considered a nice guy, he's not respected amongst his peers. This dates back several years due to his real-life relationship with Melina. Particularly, he lost a lot of respect for allowing Melina to engage in a sexual relationship with former WWE talent Dave Bautista (a/k/a Batista) while the two were dating. The former WWE Champion made no qualms of being intimately involved with Melina in his 2007 autobiography, Batista Unleashed. He wrote:

"My wife thought I was sleeping with Melina right off the bat, while we were still married. It wasn't true, but it did make me feel guilty about being friends with her.

"Since then, as I've said, Melina and I have gotten closer and our relationship has become physical. That's caused a bit of controversy, but I don't give a ****. She's my friend, and I love her very much."

Paul London and Brian Kendrick revealed many stories involving Melina and Morrison in their 2010 "shoot" interview, Brian Kendrick & Paul London's Excellent Adventure. London stated that Morrison is 'spineless' because he repeatedly permitted Melina to engage in sexual activity with outside partners while the two were dating. He added that Morrison would accompany Melina on dates with her partner of choice. Kendrick also claimed that he himself had been intimate with Melina.

Holy crap. Poor guy. Hope he sorts himself out.

Novo 10-04-2011 05:01 AM

Didn't think he was that bad, it's horrible to see him in the Ring like that after you've seen him perform in some 5 star matches back in the day.

Miz, Jericho and Maryse ( by luck my favourite 3 favourite wrestlers ) in a 10 minute video clip, Amazing.

The best bit is 5:15-

Cameraman - " The Rock stepped in "
The Miz - " He did? I don't even remember all i remember is pinning John Cena 1,2,3 that's all i remember, I remember walking out the WWE Champion "

-then points to Jericho-

" I don't know did you see? "

Jericho - " I saw it i paused it printed it out and made a t-shirt out of it "

We've now learned some more exclusive details on the live horse incident at WrestleMania 28. I never though I'd write that!!

According to our source, the horse was a 'Clydesdale'. Wikipedia says "The Clydesdale is a breed of draft horse derived from the farm horses of Clydesdale, Scotland, and named after that region." Our source says Triple H couldn't guide the massive animal away from the trap door, which had a casket (this would hold The Undertaker). That would then rise to the top of the stage during the entrances. According to the source, the horse fell through the stage with Triple H riding it and crushed the casket during the rehearsal. 'Taker was not inside at the time.

The arena was immediately cleared of staff members and rehearsal was canceled. We've been told that the horse was stuck for hours and almost had to be euthanized due to the extreme stress it had suffered. WWE crew members also had to dismantle the stage so the horse could be freed.

WWE management then made the call that it was not worth the risk and plans were scrapped.
