Not sure if posted:

Andrew Cotton leaves 24 August.
Anthony Moon leaves 30 August.

Firewire 15-08-2012 07:19 PM

Ben's exit also within two weeks, likely to be on 24 August but all still on the down low.

Redway 15-08-2012 07:31 PM

From DS:

Spoiler:

Over on EastEnders, Anthony Moon will soon be forced to turn his back on Walford after losing everything.

Things finally seem to be looking up for Anthony (Matt Lapinskas) over the next few days as his relationship with Alice Branning intensifies.

When the pair arrange a date and finally get some alone time together, they share a kiss and both enjoy it. Alice (Jasmyn Banks) seems to be far more confident than Anthony expected, but he is still worrying about the disapproval of her overprotective father and brother.

The next day, Joey steps up his scheming by telling Anthony that the only way to win over Derek (Jamie Foreman) is with a poker game.

At first, Derek isn't interested in playing against Anthony, but he changes his mind when Joey lies that the antiques dealer was bragging about how easy it would be to beat him.

As the game gets under way between the three men, Joey is the first to fold - leaving Anthony out of his depth with Derek. Anthony's cash soon runs out, but Derek tempts him to up the stakes by throwing in the keys to the antiques emporium.

With his gambling demons rearing their ugly head, Anthony agrees to the bet - but he's soon left horrified when Derek wins the game.

A desperate Anthony begs for mercy, but instead Derek hands him some cash for a one-way ticket away from Walford. Having gambled his life away, Anthony is then left with no choice but to leave the Square…

The last fews years, the exit have been really lame,

Can anyone remember any good exit?
or any BIG story lines
for past 2 and half years.
I can not thing of one!
(This when BK first started I think, or do you think this was DS Work leftover?
The only week i can remember was Lucas reveal and Ronnie Rape reveal week!

When Diederick Santer so many good story lines (2007- 2010)
Stacey and Max fall out
Stacey's bipolar.
Tony/Whitney paedophil
Masoods into Walford
Danielle's death
Who Killed Arichie
Syed Masood and Christian Clarke
Tanya Buried max (I enjoyed it lol )

it was so much more darker with his story lines
I do think Diederick Santer is bit to blame for the show at the moment as after live ep in 2010, it was getting a little messy and some stuff did not make sense

Last good exit? Dennis Rickman...2005.

As for the Santer bit...meh. I enjoyed his 2007 work and bits of 2009 but overall it was a crap period for the show. The day-to-day episodes were a chore to watch and only his big episodes were worth tuning in for. The pacing and continuity during this period was pretty bad as well.

I'm not buying this notion that Santer was the best thing since sliced bread. He pretty much destroyed the show with sensationalist, badly paced storylines et all. Granted, he looks like Shakespeare compared to Kirkwood but he was still bad. Vastly overrated.

I going judge her by this week, hoping aftermath is not ruined by other rubbish

He had me hooked on every episodes, I know the slow build up story lines got annoying at times but they all came to great end!

I don't think I missed one episode for his period, with BK i have miss tons and same goes all Louise Berridge, Kathleen Hutchison ,Kate Harwood ,

Santer was better then all those as did bring show out of hole it was in then.

The best guys were Matthew Robinson and John Yorke both Better then Santer

i am not sure about Lorraine Newman at the moment, I don't she last that long at all.

New EastEnders star Gary Lucy is joining the soap as its latest gay character.

The former Hollyoaks actor arrives in Walford next month as city banker Danny Pennant.

But a shock storyline will see him become involved in a love triangle with Albert Square couple Christian Clarke and Syed Masood.

A soap insider said: “All the girls think he’s a real ladies’ man. But they’re soon disappointed when it turns out he’s not interested in women.

“He’ll ruffle a few feathers and Christian and Syed’s relationship will be tested.”
Essex-born Gary has been given a three-month contract on the BBC1 soap but bosses will be tempted to keep him long-term if he’s a hit with viewers.

yes, he was outstanding as Luke Morgan in Hollyoaks, very emotional and draining storyline for him, he more than did it credit. One of the more memorable plots from years gone by.

Shenice is being written out :D

So Lorraine Newman has axed Rose, Andrew, Ben, Anthony and now Shenice, and also she's bringing the crap Kat affair storyline to an end within the next 2-3 weeks

Things are finally looking up for EE, the new Executive Producer is getting rid of all the pointless characters :)
Although I didn't mind Rose

Me. I Am Salman 23-08-2012 11:07 PM

I think she should axe Tyler and Poppy as well
