Frankie is burying her head in the sand, so unaware of what Ruby and co are doing to Esther and Ruby is horrible like her mates.

I hope she grows a backbone soon because if anyone is capable of being on Esther's side it is her!

'Hollyoaks' Jorgie Porter: 'Nikki Sanderson is a great addition'

Jorgie Porter has praised Nikki Sanderson, saying that the actress is a "great addition" to Hollyoaks.

Former Coronation Street star Sanderson has joined the soap as Maxine Minniver, sister to Mitzeee, and Porter predicted a bright future for her in the village.

"I absolutely love Nikki. I think she's so grounded, normal and down-to-earth, a really lovely girl. She'll be a great little addition to us all. She's going to be really fun and fit in really well I think," she told What's on TV.

Porter, who plays Theresa McQueen, also hinted at Theresa and Maxine's relationship on-screen.

"Theresa used to absolutely be in awe of Mitzeee so hopefully she'll be in awe of Maxine too. Because sometimes girls do that, don't they - have girl crushes," she explained.

Sanderson is due to appear in Chester from next week.

I think Brendan will die since he is apparently leaving next year anyway, he is storylined up to February Marsh;).

So what do you think of John Paul returning and Jeremy Sheffield/Nikki Sanderson joining the cast?

I heard he was leaving around March time, I just hope Ste and Doug are going at some point too.

I like JS and NS, they could make good characters but I'm unsure on John Paul. I'll wait and see what stories he gets.

I do not think that Esther will die. They know she is popular and that the viewers will want her alive for the conclusion of the bullying storyline!
