Reading more about Francis made his Triptych paintings quite more meaningful. They're quite personal.

..I don't know that much about him/his works but I guess that the 'contortion' of some of his paintings are drawn from life experiences and life pains and I know that a few were emotions he felt about the death/suicide of his partner, which yeah..makes them so very meaningful...it's interesting..(and good..)... that he was able to 'paint it'/that it wasn't too painful to do so....
