Tim Vickery (talkSPORT's South American correspondent) believes Arsenal will sign Brazilian starlet Bernard – but adds that the move may not happen until January.

He explains the 20-year-old's current club Brazilian outfit Atletico Mineiro aim to keep hold of the forward until the next transfer window in order for him to play in the upcoming Club World Cup campaign.

Monaco sporting director Vadim Vasilyev claims the club have been offered the chance to sign Manchester United winger Nani.

"He has been proposed to us," Vasilyev told French newspaper L'Equipe. "He is a very good player, but there have been no talks so far.

Rafael Benitez is close to bringing Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel to Napoli.
