21 Jump Street: 7/10

Funny! Im looking forward to watching 22 Jump Street at some point.

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince - Part 1: 4/10

I really enjoyed the Harry Potter film series... but this is by far the worst of the collection. Apart from Dobby's death

Ted: 5.5/10

It didnt really make me LOL but it was fun.

Jords 24-05-2014 06:48 AM

The Amazing Spider-Man: 7.5/10

Really good loved all the action scenes! Now I wanna see no.2.

Josy 24-05-2014 11:21 AM

Law Abiding Citizen - 8/10 - Great film.

Monsters - 5/10 - Awful Film.

Ryan57 24-05-2014 11:56 AM

Full English Breakfast - 0.5/10. Deemed 'the British Scarface'. :joker:

Torrid story and torrid acting. Only reason I gave it 0.5 is because the awful acting, at times, is amusing. None of them can act. Recommend everybody to watch it though. Just to witness the worst acting, and action scenes, you'll ever see.

Anchorman 2 : Really disappointing, I had heard bad reviews but I still thought I would like it.........I didn't :( 4/10

Marc 24-05-2014 03:12 PM

It's okay but it's no where near as good as the first.

Ammi 25-05-2014 02:53 AM

..Wolf Of Wall Street...I preferred the first half and maybe could have done with being slightly shorter but still a great movie...Leonardo DiCaprio was brilliant and a short bonus appearance from Matthew McConaughey...8/10...

Josy 25-05-2014 01:17 PM

The Internship - 7/10 I really enjoyed it, probably more so because I love Owen Wilsons type of humour.

Joelle. 26-05-2014 03:29 AM

X-Men Days of Future Past - 9/10

Possibly even better than First Class and stands head and shoulders above the original trilogy. Great plot, great cast and some incredible set pieces. Loved it, although Halle Berry was probably the most pointless casting ever. She barely has 3 lines.

Jords 26-05-2014 03:43 AM

Frozen: 7/10

Fun Disney film.

All over the last month or so

The Watch - 4/10. A bit disappointing, Vince Vaughan and Ben Stiller are usually great but despite having a decent premise and a few funny moments, it fell short in a lot of ways.

Think Like a Man - 6/10. Really enjoyed this, it was a lot better than I expected. Brilliant soundtrack as well.

Shaun of the Dead - 7/10. Great film but not as funny as I remembered it being.

Hot Fuzz - 7.5/10. My favourite of the trilogy, definitely the funniest one.

The World's End - 5/10. First half of the film when it is just about the pub crawl is great, second half about the aliens is just ok. Nowhere near as good as the two films before it.

Pain & Gain - 6.5/10. One of the funniest films I've seen in ages. Can't believe it is actually a true story though, felt bad for laughing at some of the stuff after finding that out. The Rock is brilliant in it.

Our Idiot Brother - 3/10. Meh. Forgettable and not all that interesting. Paul Rudd done a good job in the lead role but other than that there's not much to it.

The King's of Summer - 5/10. Enjoyable film but not as good as I was hoping. It's a subject I've been really interested in since seeing Into the Wild and while the film explored it a bit, it seemed to mainly be about family/friend dynamics rather than living out in the wild. Good but underwhelming.

Oblivion - 6/10. The first hour was brilliant and I was wondering why it didn't seem to get spoken about much as one of the true great sci-fy movies, then the second hour came and just didn't live up to it. Very good film though, although the new Tom Cruise movie that's coming out in a few weeks looks identical.

The Internship - 6/10. Been wanting to watch this since it first came out, not sure why I took so long. Owen Wilson and Vince Vaughan are always great together and this didn't disappoint.

Twenty8k - 1.5/10. Terrible. Only reason it's getting an extra .5 is because Stannis' speech at the end about shagging some kids mum was pretty funny.

The Damned Utd - 8/10. Brilliant film. Michael Sheen is excellent in the lead role and I think it's one of those films that every football fan should watch really, but even those that don't like football would probably enjoy it because it's about much more than just the game.

Cavemen - 4/10. Nowhere near as bad I was expecting it to be. It doesn't stand out from other films in its genre at all but it's not as bad as its critical reviews suggest.

Iron Man 3 - 6/10. Good film. Wasn't a big fan of the storyline surrounding the villains but it was great to see James Badge Dale playing one. Wish they'd have killed Pepper off like it looked like they had done for a while, but as usual with these films they are just too scared to do anything risky.

Open Range - 7.5/10. Western films are always great when they are done right and aren't corny, and this is one of those films. Kevin Costner and Robert Duvall were a great team and the storyline works well too. Didn't think it needed the romance angle added but oh well, it's a brilliant movie aside from that.

Wolf Creek. It was just as creepy as i remembered it. 8/10

smeagol 28-05-2014 06:55 AM

Non stop 2014 - 6/10

liam neeson being his usual cool kick ass self on a plane. most of it is good but then it gets stupid and corny and is ruined but still worth watching

About Last Night (1986) - 4/10. Found it mostly dull. Some odd good spots. Got to say though Demi Moore was great looking in it, and Rob Lowe. Deary me. Definite man crush on Rob Lowe of the 80's.

I was stunned for most of the film by how good looking he was.

He looks a bit like Paul Walker in that last one.

Nice choices

Only seen The Apartment out of those and I'd give it 10/10, really want to get around to seeing Tokyo story it's right near the top of my to see list and I've also just started getting into Bergman (seen three of his so far) so Cries and Whispers will be getting a viewing in the near future.

The Darjeeling Limited - 6/10 - I loved the first 2/3rd's of the movie that was set on the train, could have done without the last 3rd but it was still good. The fight scene where Owen Wilson and Adrien Brody get peppersprayed by the other brother is probably one of the funniest scenes I've ever seen.

Thor: The Dark World - 7/10 - Matches the first one easily. Pretty good that they went through with killing off two characters and didn't ressurect them later on like these films usually do (although it did do that itself with another character). I think I prefer the Thor movies to the Iron Man ones, even though Robert Downey Jr is probably the best thing about the franchise. Although the Captain America movies are a step up from both.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier - 8.5/10. So good. It's obviously a superhero movie but it feels like much more than that, like a dark thriller. They really buffed the Nick Fury character up in this as well which has been long overdue, and the other supporting characters are brilliant (Black Widow, Falcon, etc). Sebastian Stan turned in the best villain performance of the whole franchise too, his character is great.

I want to see this

Yeah, it was probably the 4th or 5th time I've watched Tokyo Story. Genuinely believe it to be one of the finest films ever made. Yeah, I wouldn't call Cries and Whispers top Bergman but it is an interesting watch (as is anything made by him).

Detention (2011)

This is another re-watch, when I first saw it, I didn't think it was all that great!

However. giving it another watch, I actually liked even better the second time around.

I really enjoyed the whole movie, there were some very funny moments, that made me laugh out loud.

I thought time travel thing was odd to have in slasher movie however it's worked out really well, its was clever how they did it, It didn't seem out of place at all.

There were some gory deaths movie that I really enjoyed

I am going to give this movie a 8 out of 10

Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)

I not really big fan of this series the only ones liked in this series was Original and Remake and rest were all really bad, It didn't like any of 4 sequels to first and I wasn't fan of Prequel to the remake.

I again this movie was fits perfectly with the rest of sequels, As it's was really bland, the movie
never grabbed in me at all, I didn't find it all that scary at all.

As I was not expecting much at all, It was what I kind of expected to be, it's had some bloody moments here and there but nothing we not see before.

I wasn't really big fan of the plot at all, the movie flowed okay but whole movie was so predicable!

3 out of 10
