An exceptionally good job at doing more of the things people wanted less of last year and none of the things they wanted more of (Hence the reason the show has its worst figures in its history) . Getting housemates to lick lollipops that taste like mould is hardly the work of creative people.

Netflix is killing reality TV & TV channels are dying due to netflix
Shows are dying because they are becoming awful.

BB has a huge fanbase compared to most reality tv shows. Civillian needs few years break
It's had a break for 5 years. What Channel 5 need to do is bring it back.

5 years?

This is the fifth year of BB on Channel 5. They, unfortunately, turned their back on the format of the show and created their own Frankenstein's Monster version of it. One that led them into a dead end last year and which they have nevertheless tried to repeat this year to the dismay of many.

BB13 had better housemates, BB14 had memorable housemates and extra live coverage (though they fixed the noms to get Jackie Travers out) and it looked like the show was moving in the right direction. Unfortunately they undid all of that with the utter shambles that was BB15 and they have made this years show an even bigger joke.

1.1 last night with +1, 6.3% +1(1%)

RichardG 04-06-2015 10:12 AM

JohnnyBB 04-06-2015 10:14 AM

the after effects of BB power trip has left the public wanting nothing but drama every episode.

The after effects of Power Trip left public not wanting much to do with the show at all.

Of course we all have a right to our opinions about the show- that's what the forum is about- but do you have to bring it up every other post in a ratings thread? Maybe you should create another thread if you want to discuss the quality of the show but I click on the thread to check the ratings and what everyone thinks about them, and it's just full of you constantly moaning about the producers. It's getting quite tiresome now tbh...

I think people over simplify the meaning of the word producer as well. A producer doesn't decide what time the show airs ect.

It's boring now tbh

I found bb14 had a lot more drama in each episode than bb15, with bb15 there were a loads of really boring episodes in between overhyped episodes that weren't even that good (e.g Danielle and Helen argument) where literally nothing happened.

As long as it stays above 1 million that's a good thing really. Shows there's still a dedicated audience.

I'm giving my thoughts on them and why they are so bad.

I know I love the ratings thread this user is ruining it for me.

We could all just ignore him?

Nah that was a joke in all seriousness why not just start your own thread about why you hate big brother because that's what it would be called.

I don't really agree with this article...

http://bigbrother247.co.uk/opinion-b...ive-feed-poll/

But there's a poll at the bottom with interesting results...

VOTE IN OUR LIVE FEED POLL

Thank you for voting!
Yes, definitely 94.62%
No, Live Updates are enough 5.38%

Indeed. I've never seen one that wasn't below 80 or even 90%

The article was a curious read. The writer notes...

Quote:

With Ben Frow rumoured to be in talks to reinstate the Live Feed, this can be only a good thing for the program. The Live Feed will return the essence to the program that it is currently lacking, and Channel 5 will most certainly be applauded for it.
I've heard nothing of this, so I wonder where he's got that info.

Big Brother ratings for Thursday night... 930k exc+1 apparently

Beetlejuice 05-06-2015 10:15 AM

1.08m inc+1

Rob! 05-06-2015 11:31 AM

Highest +1 of the series so far (149k), people clearly didn't know about the time change. Got exactly the same as last Thursday overall, so no audience lost.

Wasn't last week the worst week ever?

Gstar 05-06-2015 12:44 PM

didn't watch yesterdays, couldn't be bothered to see artificial arguments caused by BB for the millionth time. Dementiaville was really good

Rob! 06-06-2015 10:41 AM

1.19m (6.4%) for last night. Not sure if that's with +1 or not.

8 out of ten cats does countdown got 1.28 million and doesnt cost £40 million a year.
They are in trouble.
