That's why I said that execution has been a mess since it's been under SOC
Honestly you have such a cheek to call me an idiot |
Still doesn't mean he initiated any drama of his own though. Unless you count bins.
|
So he did the most work and could have vetoed it
|
You all idolise DTC who made it unrealistic and left it in a worse state then he found it
|
You won't find many people sticking up for SOC if that's what you're trying to do Adam

I said that it was DTC's idea, which it probably was... that's all I said I have no idea why you've taken this so personally |

He had stories that would disappear for half a year

But he had stories. That's the point.

The execution is clearly SOC's as it's as dull as a soap could get. |
DTC had stories that could've been great, but that's as far as it goes.

The show just changed too much for it to suddenly be the work of the same producer. |
Personally, I'd love JWB to stay permanently. I just feel the classic businessman eastender type is missing from the show and I think him being reformed after this storyline ends would work well.
|
Would you want JWB back permanently? What about his family?

Say what you want about DTC's style and direction but at least he always had ideas bouncing around. The show has been lifeless since SOC came in. And even his attempt at breathing life into it with bus crashes and whatnot are bloody awful. |

An 18 month villain like Johnny Allen would be fine. |

Ben killed Heather, Michelle having an inappropriate relationship, Martin killed Jamie, the list goes on.. |

But I also don't think permanent characters all need to be redeemable. I don't mind a good old fashioned villainous bastard. The soaps tends to shy away from that and try to give everyone a heart or excuse their bad actions. |

Like Marsh said he's free to hang around as a short-lived villain but that's where it ends. No way can a rapist hang around. Even EE's got a better moral compass than that. |
