No. He was fired by livingstone over strategy. Both he and livingstone had a different set of costings, and each claimed the other was wrong, but livingstone was the boss. There was no "fiddling" involved.

You think Johnson, who can't even tell the truth about how many children he has, is going to confirm this in the public? When he knows it reeks of corruption and he's holding back a report on the the illegal activities he and gove undertook during the referendum?

The lib dems are standing another candidate in Canterbury, so they are not letting anyone win. It just goes to show Swinsons true colours. She's not interested in stopping brexit, she's interested in stopping labour.

Labour's ruling body has endorsed candidate Ian Byrne, who was at the centre of a row over "sexist" comments about a government minister.

Mr Byrne was backed to stand for Liverpool West Derby after a hearing by the party's National Executive Committee.

He has apologised for "unacceptable" social media posts about Tory minister Esther McVey and Baroness Michelle Mone made in 2015.

A statement issued over the weekend from Mr Byrne, said he was "deeply sorry for the inappropriate and offensive language from the shop floor I used several years ago on social media and would not use today".

Can I assume he is no longer a sexist, then?

Given Labour's history of dealing with complaints I am not shocked.

I just watched his visit on the news and to be honest as awful as these floods are ,I thought some of those people damn rude, its not HIS fault they have been flooded, he has sent help ,what more do they want ? but your right, got to blame someone other than themselves, and i know some will say he said it wasn't an emergency, maybe at that time it wasnt but he conceeds it is now,I just feel there is no need to be rude to someone who is reaching out to talk to you.
