It sort of looked like a small golum with a bit of blood on it

^^^^
It was the only thing that made the scene interesting. The rest of it was pointless. It was like they just included it, because it needed to be there.

Spoiler:

I loved everything about this film. Definatley the best film of the series by far.
So many moments gave me goosebumps and a few moments made a little teary.

The statues coming to life and the 'Hogwarts is threatened' but gave me goosebumps, along with every battle sequence.

Snape's death and his memories made me weep a little. So much better than I imagined it would be. I noticed a few people in the cinema mopping their eyes after. They were obviously fans of the book.

The one thing I was slightly disppointed with was the King's Cross scene with Dumbledore. I don't think it fitted with the rest of film, and nothing was really divulged between them, not even a mention of the Deathly Hallows, which after all was the name of the film. I just felt in an odd way, it didn't really fit with the film, which is a shame, because its one of my favourite chapters in the last book.

Neville' speech and his beheading of Nagini was a goosebump moment.

Bellatrix being blasted into a million pieces by Molly was great. Really loved it.

Voldemort also evaporating into a million pieces was very cinematic and an improvement on the book in my opinion.

19 years later  :bawling:

The ending was perfect. Just perfect.

This film is perfect in everyway, except the Limbo scene.
Would definately say its the best film of the series. Hand's down!

Spoiler:

Agreed about Dumbledore in King's Cross. I was expecting to hear about the Hallows again and it never came. Also I thought more would be mentioned of Ariana by Aberforth like in the book, where he mentions how she died and about Grindelwald. I read somewhere that the scene was originally much longer but was cut in one of the final edits, a real shame though. Still, I hope it's included on the DVD as one of the deleted scenes.

really nice interview with Emma Watson where she reveals that she bought Deathly Hallows at an airport!

Filming McGonagall and Snape duel, lots more included which didn't make the film, wish they didn't have to cut any of it

It's time to make a Spin off dedicated to Seamus Finnigan

Ninastar 16-07-2011 04:57 PM

omg just got back from watching it. It was amazing. I found it really scary in parts and I had goosebumps for like the whole of the film

Shaun 16-07-2011 05:15 PM

filming it looks so naff without the special effects in

Ninastar 16-07-2011 05:17 PM

some bits were kinda awkward/cringey and I actually didn't really like Ron/Hermionie

People cheered and clapped when they kissed after they got wet.

Ninastar 16-07-2011 05:59 PM

yeah some people clapped at my cinema too. I was like please stop

also, people clapped at the ending

CharlieO 16-07-2011 06:02 PM

The kiss was so awkward and like pounced on each other really quickly.

GypsyGoth 16-07-2011 06:02 PM

Yep, some people clapped at the end in mine too, but they stopped soon as they noticed no one else joined in.

Also I thought Hermionie looked amazing dressed as Bellatrix.

I've always thought she could do a lot better than Ron.

Ninastar 16-07-2011 06:04 PM

no i like them as a couple, but just in the last film I thought it was a bit forced

I dont like harry/ginny though

CharlieO 16-07-2011 06:07 PM

They should have made them look a bit older with CGI rather than just combing their hair and giving Ginnie a fake bum.

GypsyGoth 16-07-2011 06:10 PM

I always wanted Hermionie and Harry to get together but after their dance in the other movie, I thought they make brilliant firends.

And I would have liked Harry to end up with Cho Chang, but I think his racism got in the way.

Shaun 16-07-2011 06:11 PM

Oh one other thing that annoyed me - in the epilogue (this might be to do with the books as well as the films) Albus Severus was seen to be complaining about the idea of being put into Slytherin.

If this whole franchise had been about frowning upon prejudice (against muggles and mudbloods) then don't you think it's a little bit hypocritical to frown upon an entire house? Like fair enough, the death of Voldemort probably wouldn't be the end of all evil, but it seems a bit stupid to go on encouraging the idea of this evil house of dark arts and how everyone should hate it.

Ninastar 16-07-2011 06:14 PM

omg the bit where Greyback (?) was eating the child was horrible.

and the scene with snape hugging harry's dead mother whilst he was in the backround crying got to me

Shaun 16-07-2011 06:21 PM

:bawling:
the whole Snape bit was just amazing

Ninastar 16-07-2011 06:24 PM

yeah I think it was the best part of the film (apart from the battle maybe)

I felt so sorry for him :bawling:

King Gizzard 16-07-2011 06:33 PM

Just watching Philosophers Stone

Harris >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Gambon

Ninastar 16-07-2011 06:35 PM

also I'm disappointed with the way they made McGonagall‎ act. she seemed a bit too fun

okay now it sounds like I really hated the film but its the opposite. I really loved it, i just think its easier to post the things I didn't like rather than the ones I did like because there are less (and I remember them more)
