May I ask the people defending the show and these ratings just how low the ratings have to drop and how bad the show has to become before you realize you're just... Wrong.

I imagine you'll have to wait a very long time before some of us admit anything of the sort...I agree the ratings this year are bad but I honestly don't believe that it has anything to do with live feed/incompetence of producers/manipulation etc. Big Brother will never pick up the ratings it used to get in the 'golden years' again IMO as the public interest has all but disappeared. No amount of live feed can fix that.

I think cancellation is inevitable at some point so I'm just going to enjoy the show for what it is now.

I think pretty much everyone is in agreement that the ratings this year are terrible I don't see anyone raving about them or calling the show a hit do you?

Anyway yeah terrible rating that. Shouldn't be going below 900k imoon a Saturday.

No one has said it will get the viewing figures it used to get. What people want is a return to a show that was a good watch. That is all.

I think I've watched one episode since the 4IN4OUT nonsense. And I caught Eileen's interview.

I still keep up with it via the forums and some online videos though. But why is the response to legitimate criticism of something to tell that person to stop watching it?

Big Brother fans should be trying to get BB back to higher standards. Allowing the standard to drop year after year will just mean the death of the show. The Channel/Producers simply must respond to the widespread criticism of what they have done to the show. The more widespread that criticism the more likely that they will have to do something.

This thread is about the ratings, yes what you are discussing is connected to the ratings in a way but people coming into this thread can't actually find the ratings posts because the thread is filled with your repetitive comments.

Actually they did respond to criticism during BB14 and moved in the right direction. And it was the most successful series on Channel 5 (in terms of ratings - this is a ratings thread isn't it?). Then they went off in another direction and the show has been in steep decline ever since. They need to start listening to the criticism if they want to salvage the show.

The show is worse. Objectively worse. It is an interactive show and hardly anybody is impressed by it save for a few people here who will continue to shine **** and call it gold.

Actually it's filled with people responding to me, telling me to stop being critical of a show that deserves criticism. It's easy enough to find the ratings. And the discussions here revolve around the poor ratings.

In other words... You can't bear someone having an opinion of the show that differs from your own.

It's one thing for the BOTS audience to be saying how great the show is, but when people on forums of fan sites are actually saying it, it is truly amusing.
