They need to ban this practice as someone is going to get really badly injured.. haven’t they banned a similar move in rugby union due to the injuries ? I’d also like the latest professional foul of ‘accidentally’ stamping on feet when ‘pretending’ to go for the ball ... stamped out . I heard Martin Keown say the phrase ‘he’s just been stamped on’ about 5 or 6 times and I saw at least three other incidents. So Newcastle players did it 8 or more times yesterday and don’t recall seeing more than one ‘stamp’ in most games ... Who’s the new guy calling the hits shots at Newcastle ?? Has he got a history of ‘tough-tackling’ tactics I wonder ?? Edit I found this online ... :::: “ Those of us looking for clues as to what he might bring to Newcastle will notice the way he talks about turning around a group of players at Swansea who were not playing to their potential.
