if you give millions of bucks to young people, it changes them. That's the first thing people should look at

Yeah there's always been these kinda scandals, some true, some not. Benzema and co got away with it a while back.

True, but these clubs aren't going to pay them less money. That should probably give them lessons on how to behave and conduct themselves.

The type of person that abuses women, isn't going to be dissuaded by a lesson.

Harold Shipman went to medical school for 7 years, but he sure did love killing those biddies.

Missed out the "over a billion spent" for some reason.

It's not really money well spent though is it?

The biggest problem at Man Utd imo is the fact that they have brought in players with severe attitude problems, it's okay to have the odd player like that if they're a 10/10 player in their ability, but it can't be half of the team being heavily egotistical.

I don't think there are problems necessarily at that club. They spend a fortune, then cry about the glazers not investing enough and whip out the Norwich scarves. Liverpool spent a lot (for the time) trying to catch yernited when they first started winning, but sometimes it just doesn't work out, especially when you're competing against a team like city that get near 100 pts every season.

Desperation doesn't help people make good decisions. The only mistake they made was Moyes, and that was fergies parting gift

I do think that the Glazers have failed to hire a Manager that suits Man Utd's style of Football, plus I do think that they've allowed the players to think that they're in charge of the club instead of the Manager.

I agree with you about the Glazers spending money because that's a fact that they've spent a lot of money at Man Utd, but throughout all of Man Utd's "struggling" years, the Glazers have been apart of all of it, so it can't be a coincidence that they are the only constant force in the years where Man Utd are struggling to win anything.

Also haven't Man Utd got a leaked roof at Old Trafford? Which speaking from experience with BSHL, not maintaining the Stadium is a really ****ty ownership.

They were also in charge for a champions league and a few league titles, so that can't be a coincidence, right?

The senior management are at fault at Man U in my opinion. There is no forward planning regarding the stadium and training facilities. They haven't set out a clear vision of where they want the club to go. Managers have been given funds and made some very questionable signings. Ten Hag is suffering now because the players are earning such large salaries, they can't get the same from any other club, so he cant get rid of them until their contracts expire.

A strong manager is needed to deal with the big egos of the players, but he also needs to be fair and realistic and utilise the squad he has and get the best out of them. They looked good for a few weeks last season, but not any more, and that is the managers responsibility to get right. He needs to stop blaming players

Google Cronaldo and Anderson and Nani together..

I recall the three players hiring a group of Russian hookers for a night plus this little snippet …

“ We had an orgy in the pool with Ronaldo, Anderson, Nani . I’d never done anything like that before. “

They do deserve credit for that tbf.

However they haven't replaced Fergie or David Gil with anyone that's truly Man Utd caliber imo, and they have overseen an era of really entitled players, and three of their players being accused of crimes (the third one being Maguire's incident in Greece) they seem to be running Man Utd like an NFL team with the issues that regular crop up at the moment.

Wolves - Liverpool
(normally not a difficult one for Liverpool but you never know with their inconsistency)

Villa - Palace
(could be a tough one that, Palace above expectations also in the top half)

Man United - Brighton
(about time ETH's team start performing well on the pitch but i am expecting a Brighton win here)

Spurs - Sheffield
(easy Spurs win, yup)

West Ham - Man City
(top match could go either way i think)

Fulham - Luton Town
(if Luton want to win their first points, this might be a good place to try going for that, Fulham ain't the best team either so idk)

Newcastle - Brentford
(Newcastle are underachieving, Brentford got a good streak at the moment, i can see an upset in the makings here)

Bournemouth - Chelsea
(idk could be a draw, on paper i'd say Chelsea are the favourites here, but idk)

Everton - Arsenal
(ahead of the cracker CL game vs PSV, a chance for Arsenal for a good morale boost with a dominant win here maybe)

Nottingham Forest - Burnley
(Kompany's team so far not showing why exactly they promoted back, and Forest got a powerhouse in midfield in Sangaré, think Forest are the faves here)

my pre-match thoughts for this weekend

Crimson Dynamo 15-09-2023 02:06 PM

Cant see any problems ahead with the Everton takeover...

Unbeaten in 15 games (longest in the league), 10 points out of 12 having played both Newcastle and Chelsea away.

It'll be a tough game, and I have a feeling they'll drop points, but they're not particularly inconsistent at the moment.

what they have is luck back with them, a bit like arsenal had for the first part of last season. You make your own luck by playing well of course, but nevertheless it has taken luck. I can see them having a couple of really bad results in their future .... we will see

Crimson Dynamo 15-09-2023 03:13 PM

In the last year Liverpool have been involved in 12 x 12.30 sat games

the next most is 6!

Darren Bent said 12.30s are a nightmare to prepare for

Where have they been lucky?

Denied a clear pen at Chelsea
Had a man wrongly sent off against Bournemouth

Had VVD sending off that could have gone either way, then got another ban because he said "fcuking joke," as though refs don't get that every decision they make.

All of the Newcastle players given free reign to hack us all match without even yellow cards.

Dispatched a villa team that was flying with ease.

Not the finished article by a long stretch, but have been mostly unlucky this season.

Man U fans talking about lucky is something else. Did you hear the audio of the non-penalty given against wolves? Must be nice to have Howard Webb in Corporate every week.
