'FFXIII' won't reach Europe until 2010

Square Enix has confirmed that Final Fantasy XIII won't see a European release until 2010.

Square Enix president Yoichi Wada said that both European and North American releases of the eagerly-awaited RPG won't arrive before April 2010, according to The Guardian.

The PS3-exclusive Japanese version will be released by the end of the year, whereas the Western release will be available on both PS3 and Xbox 360.

The last iteration in the series, FFXII, was released for the PS2 in 2007

There's been a new trailer released on the official site which shows actual gameplay. The new system looks very promising. It's turn based again and the fights look better then ever. Look it up, remember as of now it's only available from the official site.

I bought Final Fantasy XII Revenant Wings for the DS a few days back, I haven't played it yet though sicne I'm trying to complete FF3 first. Hopefully there's soem sort of catch up feature for people weho never played XII.

Ive only recently completed XII

I heard that XII wasn't great but RW was on sale so I thought what the hell? I'll probably give my 2p on it later. I want FF6 for the GBA but the price everywhere for it is shocking.

There are FF6 roms and GBA emulators everywhere on the net

suppose it's not the same as playing it on a Psx Or GBA

Yeah I was playing one around me mate's house but I couldn't get into it. I think I'll look on some shopping sites, If I manage to get one cheap then I think it would rarely leave my GBA slot of my DS.

I love FF6.

He was great, Terra was a favourite of mine along with Edgar. I liked how it didn't really have a central character (Okay it was probably Terra but she's not in it for half the game lol).

I'd love to see a full blown remake of it on the Xbox or the PS3. It was one of the best FF's, up there with 7 and X.

I which they'd just hurry up and remake 6 or 7 i dont mind which one

FF6 is amazing, probably my best to be honest. FF10 comes close, but FF6 is brilliant.

I wonder really why they haven't remade any of the more recent FF's? (Like 6-8? 9 is too recent) there's a massive demand for it, they'd rake it in as long as they don't change too much (Keep everything the same apart from better graphics and voicework).

I can see FF6 being remade on the DS before long though as I think FF5's being remade on it.

I Need a PSX emulator I want to play FF Tactics the PSX version and grandia

I never played FF Tactics, I was gonna get it for the psp but I never got round to it. I played the GBA tactics and A2 for the DS though, they're cool.

Never played the original Grandia either, I've got the sequel for the PC though which is great.
