She has got the King's approval

Cher Lloyd has claimed that she loves splitting public opinion.

The singer revealed that her new album's title Sticks + Stones was inspired by the fact that she enjoys people having both positive and negative responses to her.

Lloyd told Digital Spy: "A lot of things have been said about me. People are going to talk and that's a good thing; I want people to talk.

"I don't want people to say, 'So, what do you think about that Cher?' and for them to reply, 'She's okay'. Okay is not good enough."

Lloyd added: "I want them to either love me or to completely despise me - I mean call me all the names under the sun.

"I love it. It makes me better and for that reason I called the album Sticks + Stones. It's just a little saying my mum used to say."

Lloyd's new single 'With Ur Love' is available to download now, while her debut album Sticks + Stones will be released on November 7.

1D Fans are buying both Professor Greens song & Rihannas to stop Cher getting to #1 :bored:.

She is somehow #1 in the midweeks, don't think it'll stay there for sunday though. They need to stop releasing the song a month after they put the video out. I'm bored of WUL and want the third single now :joker:
