My AS mock grades got posted through in this report thingy today. Got ABBE.

Hopefully I'll bring the E up (lol), and do quite well/similar in the summer.

Legend 02-04-2007 05:46 PM

I got my exam timetable the other day. My first exam is May 10th i think, and it's my French Oral.

My last exam is the 27th June too but that's the day i go to Kenya so that will be fun. Final Math Module starting 9AM, i leave for the airport at 12PM.

And i've found out that the moderator is only gonna be watching my Football and no other sports now for P.E. :cheer2:

Chrizzle 21-05-2007 05:00 PM

English literature exam tomorrow at 9am.
Absolutely scared.

Chri$ 21-05-2007 05:06 PM

Good Luck Chris! :bouncy:

Chrizzle 21-05-2007 05:06 PM

Thanks Kitty:hugesmile:
Im so worried lol

Its 2 and a half hours long, and I HATE long exams.

Bells 21-05-2007 05:15 PM

Good luck with them.
I agree about long exams, mine are all really long this year.

Anyway, I had Maths today and it was absolutely solid!
I'm so going to have to resit, but at least there's that option.

As for the upcoming ones, e.g. Chemistry, don't even get me started. I'm dreading them and am going to have to put more work in! Maybe an A in Chemistry will draw the attention away from me failing Maths? Ha, or not.

Good luck to people doing exams right now.

Captain.Remy 21-05-2007 05:31 PM

Thanks Ash cause we need some luck !
French + Biology this year....annoying lool

Thanks everyone wishing me luck.
And good luck Ash, Remy, and Z.

Aah! That's even worse! Good luck!!

And thank you Chrizzle & Becca! Good luck everyone!

Bells 21-05-2007 06:21 PM

Good luck Z as well!

Seriously, that Maths paper was quite possibly the most horrible thing I've ever seen in my LIFE! And what really annoys me is those stupid swots who walk out saying it was a complete doss, I mean OMG rub it in why don't you! Sorry, bitterness there.

But anyway, I probably will resit my C2 module next year, but that's only one. I'm intending (note: intending) to work a lot more for my Chemistry coming up, so I don't have to resit that as well along with the Maths. It's really difficult though, everyone says, but I'd much rather retake just the one module for my own sanity!!!

Chrizzle 22-05-2007 01:06 PM

I did OK. I wrote a page for each question, when for the 20 Marks questions you were meant to write 2 pages. But I just couldnt think what to say.

Legend 22-05-2007 01:14 PM

Chrizzle, i wouldn't worry about it now, i've past caring how i've done. Well not ''past caring'' but i'm not worrying about it, i can't do anything about it now so i'm not even worrying. I made the most stupid mistake though and forgot to write in paragraphs for the first question, 36 mark one, ha.

No more exams for a fortnight. 4 down, 11 to go.

Chrizzle 22-05-2007 01:32 PM

My next one is 4th June, so at least I can say 'next time I have an exam BB will have started' which is good:hugesmile:

BigSister 22-05-2007 03:20 PM

oh I know Ash thats SO annoying. i get nertvous though when i find a paper that went ok usually i struggle in exams.
*hugs* for Chris im sure it all went fine. and to Ant as well. Good luck with the rest of them because I wont be on when you do your next exam

Crystal-Rose 22-05-2007 03:54 PM

did anyone else have gcse english lit

i think i did ok on the first question
totally mucked up the poetry question though!!

Z 22-05-2007 04:11 PM

My hand's swollen up  it's great, that means I wrote enough. haha. It hurts to type though >_>

Filled an entire 16 page booklet and required more paper for the Credit!! But it was really easy, mostly just common sense! Now I've got a week 'til Chemistry, and two parties to "attend" in between. Yay!

Yep
I messed up the poetry to.
Did you have the poem 'Shopkeeper'?

Bells 22-05-2007 04:21 PM

Well done to everyone who's had exams recently, at least it's over! Like I said I messed my Maths up completely, but I've got the opportunity to sort that. English on Friday (great).

Had my Chemistry practical today, and kind of completely messed up. I'm quite upset but I swear it's made me more hyperactive! I ended up putting the wrong solution in the burette and all that - well, at least I didn't break anything. Not that I would've had marks taken off because it's about the technique, but would've had a bollocking off my teacher (who's scary). So yeah, all in all I don't really want my mark but the good news is at least that stupid practical is over, because I've been dreading it for a while.

BB-Rocks 22-05-2007 05:57 PM

I only have two more exams left! I have Higher Computing and Higher Chemistry next week.
