Big Brother- 1.55m incl +1

Continues to do very well! Everything incl the news was down last night, looks to me that breaking the Royal baby news early made BBC and ITV look like fools considering they couldn't even muster 3m. BB was the only thing that seemed to be unaffected.

I'm surprised, I thought last nights episode was pretty boring. Still, good to hear the ratings remain high!

How many episodes can be above 2m viewers last week ?

It's back to Week 1-3 levels which is so disappointing. Hopefully a climb tonight to 1.5m again. Let's not try to worry, this is the first rating that's been poor in over 2 weeks, so hopefully it's a blip!

Brilliant climb last night, a growth of 200k. Last night got 1.59m including +1

As I expected, +1 got a large showing of 236k.

Meanwhile, Love/Hate flopped. It got 730k incl +1.

:amazed::amazed: I thought Love/Hate would do really well and make BB's ratings look terrible.

Also, don't want to jinx it, but so far, BB14 has failed to fall off a cliff in W6 (this week) like it did for BB12-BB13. This was the week last year where BB13 really dropped like a stone.

Also to sum up, BOTH BB12 and BB13 got 1.6m officially, so far this series (up until the last officials released) is officially averaging 1.82m. Not to mention that around 3 officials that will be released on Monday will be near or hit 2m, so that 1.82m can go to around 1.84m when the next batch of officials are counted.

Before W6, BB13 averaged 1.75m as a whole, between W6-10, it would drop to cause it to average 1.6m as a total.

I thought BB13 averaged 1.8? But thanks Salv, interesting post!

Apparently, Wiki is wrong, and a ratings expert has all the officials of every series and he mentioned to me in a post (around 15 times) that BB13 got 1.6m. He did come across a little rude and kept saying "Oh and by the way, it got 1.6m" throughout his long post, and seems confused why people thought it got 1.8m.

So far then, both BB12 and BB13 got 1.6m and BB14 so far is on 1.82m. Not bad for a show which launched at the lowest ever, eh?

Ah well that's disappointing for BB13 but yeah as you said, it's great how BB14 is averaging more when it launched with far less.

Glad Big Brother climbed up to something decent again - but shocking for Love Hate...especially considering all the promotion it got!

I bet C5 aren't very happy! Maybe they'll stick BB back on at 10 so they can put Love/Hate on at 9? Might increase the ratings a little.

Great climb yesterday in the ratings I watched Love/Hate for 10 min then I turned off

People who have seen it before have said that Love/Hate becomes unmissable in later series, but if the figures don't pick up I can't imagine it getting that far..
Still, BB is back up where it should be. :dance:
