Finally finished this!

:love::love::love:

It's a good season! Great to see more than one person actually playing the game (:eyes: BB19) and the house divide was really reminiscent of BB6  I was definitely Team Ballsmashers but I didn't appreciate some members of the LNJ too. Also Morgan beating Jason (despite Jason having a pre-existing fanbase in a season largely decided by America's votes) has to be the most righteous result in BBUS history, so glad that basement creature wasn't rewarded for his vile behaviour this season

My only criticism would be some of the episodes edits were a mess and I did feel as if America had too much influence, things like Alex leaving on Shelby's HOH and Neeley leaving on Kryssie's HOH shouldn't really happen, plus most of the votes went Jason's way which ew

Cast ranking
1. Shelby
2. Morgan
3. Justin
4. Alex
5. Kryssie
6. Neeley
7. Whitney
8. Scott

9. Cornbread
10. Danielle

11. Shane
12. Monte
13. Jason

I'm a bit unsure of how 5-8 would rank but I'm pretty sure of my top 4 and bottom 3

Ballsmasher fan :clap1:

welcome to the club

A girls alliance that actually worked

Eh I get why Jason lost but I still think it's laughable that people in the BBUS community who spend their lives complaining about bitter juries and people voting emotionally only then went and did so when they were given a vote

This is some tea!

Morgan played better than Jason

part of the format is american voting so acting VILE is a bad game move,

I think the whole idea of a bitter jury is kinda stupid because ultimately you're always going to vote for someone you like, or at least respect, to get half a million dollars. Like, if you handpicked the jury and they're bitter at you, that's more indicative if your gameplay than their feelings.

And I don't even know how one can assess gameplay on a season like OTT bc there isn't even a discernible game to be played with America interfering like every third day. I'm sure Morgan fans can spin a good case as to how she played a better game and the Jason fans can as well. ****, even HypoKryssie spun a good case for herself in her final speech.

To this day I still don't really know whether I was team LNJ or team Ballsmashers. I liked some from both sides and disliked some from both sides tbh. Danielle was probably my overall favourite, and I was gutted to lose Neeley over someone like Scott, but as a whole Danielle/Shane/Neeley/Morgan/Shelby were probably my faves? Morgan was FAR better than her sister as well

She really didn't, she was a massive who and I could make a case for almost all of the F9 (and certainly the F5) to win over her. There's a lot of luck involved in Big Brother and she's one of the biggest recipients of it in recent history.

Of course it is, I'm not denying that - my point is that those who have in the past derided 'bitter' juries for their favourites losing/jurors voting emotionally (even so recent as three months earlier in BB18!) - were then guilty of doing exactly the same thing. People can pretend that Morgan won by her own volition all they like but the reality is it's 80% her opponent who won her the game through his own behaviour. Great/kudos/you take what you can get/slay/you win the $250k/whatever, but my point still stands. The hyprocisy from these same people who lambasted bitter/emotional jurors was real.

I agree with all of this but that's basically my point, people who would usually blame the jury for their favourite's loss and deride a juror for voting personally and not on who played the best, were then guilty of doing the exact same thing. Of course it's Jason's fault he didn't endear himself to America, but to spend your life saying 'jurors should vote on game' and then not is...well...just complete hypocrisy? And I vividly remember in the week leading up to the finale many people across many different sites saying something along the lines of 'Jason may have played the best but I can't vote for him' or 'I don't think Morgan really turned up until now but Jason can't win so', and all that's just been airbrushed out of history because she ended up winning. Like, these people needed to practice what they preach or admit they talked ****e.

They really need Shelby and Alex back for a regular season (I'd throw Danielle in there too even though I wasn't a huge fan)

The edit really favoured Alex but I remember hating her on the feeds, icr why but she was hella annoying to me

Alex and Danielle were the HBIC's of their alliances though

Macie Lightfoot 23-08-2017 11:23 PM

I'm not even disagreeing with you really but in the same regard half of Jason's votes were from alumni who didn't even properly watch or even follow OTT and people who supported his Bitchy Gay persona rather than anything to do with gameplay so it goes both ways.

I like Alex but she was a bit of gamebot so I can see why she would grate on the feeds, plus as you said it was great to actually have HBICs rather than the terrible female cast full of followers on BB19

Macie Lightfoot 23-08-2017 11:54 PM

Alex works a lot better for me once I realize that she'll forever be jealous of her Dumb Recruit Bikini Girl Sister for actually winning a season of Big Brother
