Braden 23-02-2014 06:14 PM

Not much discussion about this season, but I have to say that I completely love this girl :flutter:

Black Dagger 23-02-2014 07:15 PM

YES BRADEN, YES.

I watch every year, but I didn't think people were watching and I hate spamming threads by myself.

Majesty/Jess/Sam/Jena/Emily >>> really good top 13 this year.

Braden 23-02-2014 07:27 PM

I've only started watching clips tonight, so I'll start watching properly with the live shows.

I'm really liking Majesty & MK, sad that Bria wasn't chosen as the wild card. Jena is a good option though. Her 'Video Games' was really good.

Headie 23-02-2014 07:29 PM

I can't @ Briana not making the Top 10 or even being considered for a wildcard spot. She was one of the best in the competition.

Majesty, Malaya & Jena >>>>>

Also, can we please take a moment to realise that America voted in 5 WHITE GUYS and left the 5 BLACK GUYS on the losers couch

Kate! 23-02-2014 09:41 PM

I've started watching now, cba with audition stages and all that. Not seen enough to have a favourite yet.

Ryan57 03-03-2014 09:18 PM

Is it just me or does Malaya freak anybody else out? She comes across as some sort of sociopath that's also a dominatrix. :umm2:

Was hoping she'd of gone last week.

Headie 03-03-2014 09:23 PM

I love Malaya

Black Dagger 03-03-2014 10:06 PM

I quite like her, last week was diabolical for her, but Kristen was one of my B3 of the competition, so no major loss.

BBfanUSA 14-03-2014 10:51 AM

Well, the results are in....and the results this week are kinda surprising...

Spoiler:

Bottom 3: Sam, Ben, Majesty
Saved: Sam
Eliminated by .07% Ben

Black Dagger 14-03-2014 12:38 PM

It pisses me off how Majesty can have ONE awful performance and get reprimanded by the American public for it and being put in the B2, yet Dexter can be constantly horrific, ****ing country kuhnts.

BBfanUSA 14-03-2014 12:41 PM

Oi BD, Spoiler that it hasn't shown in the UK yet.

Spoiler:

At least a "Country" artist went home this week.

Black Dagger 14-03-2014 01:04 PM

It's been axed in the UK.

Shame it was the better one </3

BBfanUSA 14-03-2014 01:22 PM

Oh, I didn't realize that.

I will not be surprised if it's axed in the states after this year. The Voice is on (as you know) and that's soaking up Idol's viewers.

Although I wouldn't be surprised if they decide to have a All Star Idol Series after this series as a proper sendoff for the show.

(If they ever do, I'd want the All Star Cast to include Kelly and Carrie <3)

Ryan57 15-03-2014 02:57 PM

I thought 5* were showing it at weekends over here?

Be a shame if Idol was axed. :( Great show.

Especially with Harry. What a legend. I love how Keith and Jennifer get up to clap, but he never does. :joker:

With his biggest fan returning to be cradled again. Fantastic stuff.

BBfanUSA 15-03-2014 03:11 PM

The Cradling thing was shown alot in the ads before the show started. Which is probably why he showed up during Harry's performance.

Harry Connick is a Brilliant judge.

I am Kinda annoyed with the Memory wall thing they have on the new set this year. But other than that I love the new set.

BBfanUSA 21-03-2014 12:58 AM

Tonight's Results

Spoiler:

Bottom 3: MK, Majesty, Dexter
SAVED from B2: Majesty
Eliminated: MK (Save was not used)

Ryan57 23-03-2014 04:43 PM

Wasn't an MK fan myself.

Maybe it was just me, but she looked like her confidence was totally drained. She never seemed to smile on the couch in the performance show.
Then, if I'm not mistaken, that band that Harry chose to play on the results show finished their performance and every other contestant applauded, except her. Felt as though she was resigned to going.

BBfanUSA 23-03-2014 05:16 PM

Yeah she was drained.

Crowd was chanting to Save Her though. I don't know if she wasn't prepared or wasn't too confident about her save me song but she took a few seconds and talked with the band director and then performed Let Her Go

Next Week's theme is big band, Should be a fun one if they use more modern tunes like XFUS did (Someone still did Feeling Good, but I think except for one other person, Everyone did modern day tunes)

Ryan57 23-03-2014 06:12 PM

Hate big band when it's done on our X Factor in the UK. :idc:

BBfanUSA 23-03-2014 06:24 PM

Well it's called (I'm In the) Band

Most are assuming it's Big Band.

BBfanUSA 28-03-2014 01:38 AM

First of all, it's basically Band Week. Not Big Band, Just Band week.

Second Here's this week's results
Spoiler:

Bottom 3: CJ, Sam, Majesty
Eliminated (They didn't reveal B2): Majesty, Wasn't Saved. 3 More Weeks til it's gone

By the way, here's something funny.

Did you know that Phillip Phillips is still relevant? He just released another single from his second album. I've heard it on the radio.

Ryan57 28-03-2014 08:35 PM

Glad to hear Phillip is still around.

Wish more talent shows would follow suit with the new, shorter, results show. They're just drawn out for no reason. :idc:

BBfanUSA 02-04-2014 09:40 PM

Show is tonight, Theme is their judges audition song.

Phillip's new single is called Raging Fire and he performed it on the show. It's really catchy. Only thing I hated about his Idol performance was that he still looked constipated like he was through most of his series.

I think the Voice over here is 1 hour but they fill it properly with their contestants performing with established acts or having acts performing in duos, trios, quartets.

BBfanUSA 04-04-2014 01:33 AM

Tonight's results

Bottom 3: Malaya, CJ, Sam
Booted: Sam, but the save was used (He's been charting on iTunes pretty high)

This means next week's a double elimination, The next theme is 80s. Requests which were meant for next week along with 80s will be moved to next week.

Also when they used the save, Confetti litteratly fell from the celing onto the stage and they played The Man by Aloe Black...

What. The. Hell. :joker:

Marc 06-04-2014 04:10 PM

LOL the confetti.. he didn't win fgs what was the need.

I hope Caleb goes next week.. I don't see the appeal personally. And Dexter.. but I know America love the country and rock acts.

Jena Irene
