he has a bad-ass mustache tbf
|
Yeah I was thinking exactly the same, I would have cut the 'stashe from his face and threw him in if I was Jaime
And the Theon scenes are wasting too much time which would be much better spent on Olenna, Varys and Dany  Also just realised that dickhead played Bryce in the Tomb Raider film: http://l.yimg.com/bt/api/res/1.2/QmK...der-194175.jpg |
Caught up last night. Another great episode.
One thing, I'm not getting the torture scene with Lily Allens brother. Why is he being tortured again? I didn't quite get it I think I might have missed something but I've looked back and I still don't get it. |

I'm still not sure on some of the characters though. Some of them seem to look similar making it a bit confusing. LOL |

I'm more than a bit confused TBH, there are whole bits that I don't get but I cant expect you guys to answer my questions so I'll soldier on. For example, I just don't get the whole bit with that red headed witch woman - Don't know her name, sorry. I like that they have assumed a certain amount of knowledge of the books. It must be very enjoyable to watch if you know what's going on. :spin: |

And don't worry about asking about stuff, everyone is more than happy to explain what they can I'm quite sure ;) The Red headed witch woman is called Melisandre. She's a red priestess, her God is called R'Hllor, the God of Light. She's helping Stannis to win the throne as she says that The Lord of Light told her he was Azor Ahai reborn (he was a messiah of the faith) Thoros of Myr is also a Red priest, he's the guy who keeps bringing Lord Beric (the brothers without Banners) back to life. this is Thoros : Spoiler: |
Ah Paul Kaye. I wondered what his character was up to?
I didn't get that bit about bringing back Stannis. Did not get it at all. I'm hoping it will explain it self later on. EDIT: You warned me to avoid Wikipedia but I had to take a look to find out a bit of background and now I've come across a massive spoiler.:bawling: Spoiler: |
Quote:
Azor Ahai was a legendary hero who lived approximately eight thousand years before Aegon's Landing. It is said that during the midst of The Long Night, Azor Ahai rose up and defeated the Others, wielding a sword of fire, called Lightbringer. Some readers believe that Azor Ahai is the same hero as the prince that was promised, while others believe that they come from two distinct prophecies. Azor Ahai and the prince that was promised have this far never been mentioned in the same sentence. lol you shouldn't google :nono: but... Spoiler: |

Probably best for you to rewatch it all again after this Season Girth, things might be a bit clearer and make more sense now Niamh has explained it

Stannis is in Dragonstone at the minute, he's only had about 2 or 3 scenes this season, are you getting him mixed up with Beric?

The red headed witch was in last weeks ep. I thought she was telling Stannis that she thinks he is the rightful king. I dunno. I need to watch it all again. I kind of get the Stark and Lannisters and Danerys but its the rest of them that I cant keep track of. I also think the actors who play Robb and Jon Snow look alike so I sometimes cant tell them apart. |

Stop tempting me with these spoilers witch!

So what about the fat baker boy?
|
haven't you read the books Dezzy? I thought you had
|
I read the first one. It was so similar to the show though that I decided I'd save the books for after the series ends.

Well the baker boy probably had it coming, it is unfortunate that the Spice King seems to have gone down as the forgotten hero of the show though, they did not realise his true potential
