That could be even worse. It would mean a smaller lead in for Big Brother.

CaudleHalbard 25-07-2013 04:55 PM

I doubt C5 will obsess too much about one day's ratings. It is the average over the whole 10 weeks that they - and importantly advertisers and sponsors -will be interested in and which determines BB's future.

The future actually looks excellent. BB is one of C5'S flagships.

I thought the task was quite interesting, at least it was something other than the triangle stuff. The last two nights were above average, but the 3 episodes before them were quite poor.

I think if this was any other week, the ratings would be down, I think people are tuning into this lie week to see the build up to tonight.

So, after tonight, got to hope something happens to keep the audience.

So far the ratings as a weekly average is still up on W2, 3 and 4. It is behind W1 and W5 though.

Im expecting a drop off next week as I just don't see anything left in the housemates.

Unless theres a massive row which I doubt.

aman201 26-07-2013 11:11 AM

I liked the task, it caused some good moments.

You liked the housemates being told who the public want to win?

The only good thing was Sallie AXL calling and calling Hazel a homewrecker which BB cut out of the show.

LF shows signs of rows brewing. Twins not liking Gina and how she told them to shut up last night and were bitching about her last night. Hazel/Dan/Twins think it's Gina and Dexter's fault that Hazel is disliked, etc... I think quite a lot can happen still.

Fingers crossed though! But to me, is it weird that it seems the ratings are higher for the duller episodes? Looking back at most of the W1 ratings (apart from launch and Sallie's eviction), ratings were around 1.35-1.40m incl +1, so it seemed to me the drama didn't really interest people with Sallie

Hopefully then.

If Dan goes tonight though over Those 2 bores that's gonna be a big blow to the show but I cant see anyone voting for Sam or Sophie.

What are they even going to use in their best bits.

I feel quite sorry for them actually lol theres gotta be nothing worse than spending 6 weeks in the most famous house in Britain and coming out to no one knowing you coz you get 2 minutes of airtime per episode.

Looks like the Dan army is in full force today, a lot of tweets about evicting Sophie. I know Dan will still go, but there's a tiny chance it will be Sophie.

Would be a waste IMO mate.

Dan- 1.42
Sophie- 3.4
Sam- 24

I don't think Sam would even get 5% of an evict vote.

SSL2012 26-07-2013 12:12 PM

Rating predictions for tonight guys??

*mazedsalv** 26-07-2013 12:14 PM

If we are to believe that +1 usually adds around 70k, then last night would be around 1.52m (which would be up 10k on last Thursday).

Tonight I predict 1.65m incl +1. Last week got 1.62m, so I do expect a few more thousand tune in with this twist.

Hang on are you quoting yourself as a source? the figures are right but quoting yourself as a source is just weird behaviour.

Hope tonight is not way down because of the Olympic Anniversary on BBC1 :(

That looks likely to surpass 6m. Could really knock BB :(
