There's literally 4 different competitions in a week :umm2:

JerseyWins 01-07-2016 02:00 AM

The Battle Backs will probably be the next Thursday eviction episode before the next person is evicted.

Sunday would be overkill when they already have Roadkill, two ceremonies, and sometimes part/all of HOH.

Braden 01-07-2016 02:00 AM

SO the main thing I've gathered from this episode is that Paulie is an arrogant dick, but the amount of competitions this season is baffling. I have no idea how they will all fit together on the episodes?

Ross. 01-07-2016 02:00 AM

They'll find time for another daily James prank tho

Macie Lightfoot 01-07-2016 02:02 AM

Guys just wait for the Hidden Diamond PoV to be hidden once Frank is nominated

Braden 01-07-2016 02:03 AM

Hmm, I always had a dislike for Paulie from the beginning though. It's embarrassing how much he puts his brother and himself on a pedestal.

The blindside didn't really even seem like a blindside at all :p

reece(: 01-07-2016 02:03 AM

When Sunday episodes used to end with nominations <3

It's gone so much to **** now

JerseyWins 01-07-2016 02:04 AM

I just remembered, BBUS has endurance competitions on feeds usually right? And would this count as an endurance comp?

It didn't seem like a blindside to me either. If it wasn't for Jozea's interview with Julie I would've thought he knew

yeah, like on the premiere when he said his last name was Calafiore as if people would recognize it :conf: I'm just sick of this show jerking itself off to BB16 and acting like it was a good season, and Paulie acting like Cody was a good player. He was all talk and threw away his game numerous times just because Derrick told him to and he has a daddy complex. There's nothing to be proud of.

I miss the nomination wheel too

Now they just turn a key and look at the screen and it takes all the tension out of nominations

He got to 2nd place because of a good social game and his charm. It almost didn't matter what he did because of how good he was in those ways, he just made a mistake in the end.

Nothing wrong with what Paulie said either... it was funny. And being directed at someone like Jozea it was like poetic justice. :joker:

Macie Lightfoot 01-07-2016 02:14 AM

Friday July 22 will have a Battle Back Special that will show all four rounds.

JerseyWins 01-07-2016 02:16 AM

Oh that makes more sense. Not a bad idea then. At least things won't get overflown by competitions on the shows.

The mistake he made is the biggest in BB history, and it was far from the first time he threw his game away for Derrick.

He's a nightmare already. I don't get how Cody can get away with being called a good player in any respect. Like, if I were Cody I would even cringe at that statement.

He got to the end because of a big alliance that was created out of paranoia by Devin tbh. I would argue that his social game was pretty much non existent due to the fact that he was in a position where his alliance got the power pretty much on a week to week basis. His mistake at the end epitomises how terrible h is at the game (imo).

The only reason Paulie got cast was because of his brother, but I would've thought he would've tried to make himself come across more as a unique individual. Not someone who is using his brother's 'success' (or lack of) as a form of strategy. It's just arrogant and annoying.

Macie Lightfoot 01-07-2016 02:27 AM

I think the biggest thing for me is that Cody had such a clear path to victory but he actively made moves that hurt his own personal game and benefited Derrick's. Like, he's a str8 white male who is conventionally attractive and "charming" or "charismatic" or whatever you wanna call it. All he had to do is breathe and exist and people were rooting for his success and wanting to align with him.

I know evicting Victoria is The Worst Move but his first HoH reign was disastrous. Like, he threw away an easy as **** F4 scenario with Zach/Victoria/Brittany and backdoored Brittany just because Derrick wanted him to. There was literally no benefit to it -- Brittany loved Cody and Caleb wanted him out because he touched Amber's back or some ****.

Braden 01-07-2016 02:35 AM

Yeah, BB16 is a blue to me because I hated it so much, but I do remember being annoyed at Cody for not nominating Caleb. Not saying he wasn't strategic because of it, I just wanted Caleb out at the time :p But yeah, I remember Brittany and Cody being close. He just enabled Derrick to get to the end with no issues, which turned out to be the ongoing theme of the season.

JerseyWins 01-07-2016 02:41 AM

The thing is, Derrick had his back as well. If he doesn't listen to Derrick, he maybe wouldn't have as close of a #1 ally. Maybe Derrick drifts away from him as well and Cody gets booted much earlier because Derrick was a very crafty player with a lot of influence on everyone. There's no way to prove how things would've changed.

Caleb won what, at least 2 HOH's after that? And Cody never touched the block. Derrick influencing him in some ways were usually beneficial to him too (which idk ALL ways Derrick influenced him as I didn't watch feeds for that season). However, Cody & Caleb seemed pretty close by the end of the season cause of his social game so it couldn't have been that much of a mistake.

Braden 01-07-2016 02:44 AM

I'll continue the discussion tomorrow. This is literally no shade/disrespect, Jersey. It's just that I desperately need sleep :p

VanessaFeltz. 01-07-2016 06:28 AM

The look paulie gave to jozea when votes were revealed :hee:

I like meaningful competitions, better than have/have not. But such things need to be shown live. It's amazing that after all these years they don't get that, the audience seem to have become trained to wait days to see what's happened. Three episodes a week has never been enough, they may as well use the After Dark spot to show to show a competition. Even if it's three a week, and a special show for the evictees, they still don't organise the house events well with the episodes.

Sure Derrick had Cody's back, but plenty of other people also did and would have including that week's evictee Brittany. It's not even that Cody didn't backdoor Caleb (who was openly against him at that time because he flirted with Amber once or summat), it's the fact that he nominated Brittany in the first place and then nominated Donny. Brittany *loved* Cody, and Cody also had a good individual relationship with Donny. But Derrick didn't, and Derrick wanted Donny nominated so Cody did so. He sacrifice his entire individual game in order to be Hitmen 5eva just because he has a daddy complex.

Jozea </3 kinda grew to like him, he was an entertaining mess. Natalie and Bronte ftw actual LEGENDS. 'I can get ANY guy I want, I'm not being conceited but I can' 'Well I give a ****, and you guys should respect the fact I give a ****'

Dani Donato tweeted out asking guys if Natalie could get them. I scrolled through about 20 responses and every single one said that Natalie could get them it was funny.
