so if gays don't like hetero sex, are they heterophobics then?
I don't switch over if I see two heteros or two lesbians kissing. I think this is the point.
i dunno...some girls don't change the channel if they see guy/guy kissing (example rodrigo/charlie). so my question goes (again) if there are gays who don't like hetero kissing/action, are they heterophobics?

I'll pack the condoms

Shasown 24-07-2009 07:21 PM

Doesnt really matter what people are averse to, either get used to it or avoid it(look away). Its not illegal, immoral or disgusting when two people care for each other.

Or if u live in the real world u realise most straight men find the thought of two guys gettn it on revolting. It doesnt make me homophobic its just the way it is.
most straight men do not find the thought of gay men getting it on revolting - stop transferring your own neurosis onto the rest of society. the only straight men who dont mind are straight men who are secure in their heterosexuality.

by the way, heterosexual means straight

Well people who like putting labels on others would probably say yes

I think it's down to how you respond to the situation.
E.g. a straight guy walks down the street sees two men kissing thinks hmmm not my cup of tea continues walking...then no I wouldn't say that was homophobic.

If during the same situation the guy starts shouting out insults at the gay guys for kissing then yes i would say that is homophobic......

I didn't realise that was your question. You said 'so if gays don't like hetero sex, are they heterophobics then?' assuming you meant actually taking part in it.

But seen as you put it that way, the answer would be 'yes'.

But I never find myself having that kind of response to witnessing male/female intimacy. We've grown up with it seeing it in TV and movies. It's the norm.

Shasown 24-07-2009 07:25 PM

Err no, I like the girlfriend kissing me, and her flange is the sweetest I have tasted.

Bull$hit. I'm comfortable with my sexuality, I'm straight, I don't find 2 gays kissing horrible or disgusting but it's not my thing. Gays are more accepted than ever but society isn't fully tolerant about it yet. You can't make people liking it or anything. It's not my cup of tea, it doesn't disturb me, it doesn't turn me on and it certainly doesn't make me feel comfortable.

there is lotsa hypocracy going on with heteros who don't like gays. as i said, why guy who don't like gay sex is called "homophobic", while gays who don't like hetero sex, are so called "normal" peoples. it's sad that everything normal is sick, and everything else is normal. oh well, i guess im sick then.

BBUK4LYFE 24-07-2009 07:33 PM

You are not. I don't like seeing people kissing either.

Doesn't make you a homophobic.

WAYNEEBRUM 24-07-2009 07:34 PM

If society accepts both heterosexuality and homosexuality, then we may aswell assume they are normal, move on and not get uncomfortable with the idea of them as an aspect of day to day life. Gay people's attitude to straight people isn't really a problem as far as I can see. There are still pockets of homophobia in society... expecially in small towns and religious communities. All of the idiots who write letters of complaints to regulators or TV channels because they showed something like a depiction of a gay couple before the watershed are bigoted straight people.
