I meant now she is known as a dodgy R n B wannabe who has beef with Eminem. She could have gone the other way and been decent. In the early days she didn't even show off her body that much. But someone must have told her sex sells, so she *****d herself out pretty well. She could have kept a modest look like Whitney, but no, she has to hang off the arm of rappers in videos plus appear half naked in all of hers.

I think things have cooled down cosiderably since then in terms of the love for mariah by the peeps of the world, but you can't forget how incredibly huge she was back then.

But, you're right, she definitely isn't as big as she once was. But she still has her moments.

The Emancipation of Mimi sent her back to the top. She had two #1 singles, one of which was the longest stay at #1 until the Black Eyed Peas this summer, two Grammy awards, numerous records broken and an album which sold more than 10 million in an age where thats almost impossible. She's still getting top ten singles worldwide today and of course, number one albums. So she doesn't sell 30 million copies of an album anymore, but who does these days?

Eminem is a big seller too, but there's no point in denying both have left their mark on music. It's tiring saying one is more of a legend than the other.
