Oh don't get me started on this generations obsession with dry emotional rock. The Fray's being the primary suspects. Rock music for boyfriends to buy they're girlfriends. Take Coldplay, batter them into a frying pan, boil for twenty minuets, feed it to your dog, collect the ensuing dog diarrhea, eat it yourself, stick your fingers down your throat, throw it up, press it onto a disc, and you have The Fray.

How exactly are they overrated, Courtney? In your honest critical appraisal? |
These days a lot of "rock" bands lack any real attitude or passion for their music. They just want to fill their pockets.

I actually prefer Can to Kraftwerk. And Bowie's electronic stuff was great just after them anyway.
But yeah, for me it has to be The Doors. |

I see where you are coming from though. I have often listened to Rubber Soul in full wondering just what all the fuss is about. I'm betting most of your exposure to The Beatles has come from the TV adverts for the game. Do you think the Beatles would have been better if John Lennon was a member? [Everybody keep out of this one.] |
