The complete destruction of, and loss of value, in the meaning of many words in the English Language ie. Celebrity, Legend, Hero. The 'entertainment' industry is disintigrating before our very eyes! ha,ha.

9/11 because it still impacts the world today, it set the tone for the decade and put a lot of events into motion.

Im really hoping that the people who put MJ dying...or jade dying... were joking

If they really believe that, they need to get their priorities right

The formation of Girls Aloud, duh.

But seriously, 9/11. Probably the most horrific thing since the Holocaust.

Good point! I can understand the annoyance of other countries that say that many Westerners are only interested in atrocities that occur in the Western world - ones that actually affect them - making them become fearful for their own safety. 9/11 was awful, no denying that - but there have been atrocities equal to or worse in other parts of the world.

Indeed, proves that most people don't see all Humans as equal.

9/11.

It has affected the way the world works as a social and political planet. It was the first huge terror attack to happen and led onto the war in Iraq etc.

It has actually made Americans and Europeans panic - because now it is on their doorstep!
