I ll **** you all up at qudditch
|
I never understood quidditch. I mean, I know it's not real, but the game will never end until the snitch is caught and the person who catches the snitch automatically wins for his team, right, so what's the point in the rest of the game going on? Aint it all just a pointless spectator pleasing backdrop that means nothing?
|
Yeah you re right
I'd fcking love to be a beater though |

Plus there was a woman on This Morning who had a gambling addiction due to being online. She couldn't help herself so her brother had to lock her in a room for a while and didn't let her see her kids/go in the internet etc. That could be you :nono: Although if you got to go on This Morning that would be pretty amazing |

My usual town, probably got the best casinos. Tucson Arizona, in the indian reservations. Awesome casinos. I only go maybe once a month and plan to blow 2 or $300. And I have an amazing time :) I cant be asked playing any games over the internet, let alone poker, or card games. THey do have some nice casinos in London too by the way. |
I do have a frined, compltely addicted to gambling online. HE goes to casinos once in a while, but mostly online, unless he has no mney, but then he will find plACES WHere you can just play for chips and real money involved.
You havent seen an addict, until youve seen someone addicted of gambling, or games. Worth than any substance abuse. |
Oh no!
I like that Texas Hold'em on facebook. |

If he loses, he wants to win back. If he wins, he wants to win more. If he won ten times continuously, he would lose all money (or more) at 11th bet. If he did not gamble, I could have retired long time ago. |
Hiya,
Sorry didn't see this thread, been staying with my gf for a day or two and didn't have much net time. I don't really understand the question Vicky, but if you ran into ran into aces 11 times in 75 minutes, it's pretty unlucky. It's hard to know exact percentages without seeing hand histories though. The sites are legit though, I used to do the same in blaming the RNG when I lost money, it's just natural :) I can't be sure for smaller sites, but the big ones like PStars, FullTil, WillHill are definitely regulated by gambling comissions and their software isn't rigged. If you think about it, if they 'were' going to rig a site, it would be in their best interest to make sure players didn't lose all their money to people. They'd make it so money was kept around longer, meaning they can rake it more and make more money. I do have a few trust issues with sites though. A few years ago I was cheated out of anywhere up to $8000 on ultimate bet (google for 'ultimate bet scandal'), money which I never got back. There were accounts which people could see my hole cards, and I lost big money. At the time I thought the site was rigged for sure, as I was losing at a big rate. Then eventually the scandal came out, I think something like 10m+ was taken from players like me, but since the site is regulated and hosted on a small island outside of any formiddable jurisdiction, legal proceeding would be tricky. I think the court case might even still be going on trying to recover and find where the money went. The thing with poker is, it's a long term game if you're looking to make money. Anything can happen in the short term, and since hundreds of millions of hands are played online every day, weird things are going to happen. I occasionally see things that are ridiculous, but with a fixed set of cards, it's not that impossible. What's important isn't to lose focus when you lose money. If you're getting your money in spots where you're a favourite, if you carry on playing, in the long run you're going to make money. Andy, yeah I play for a living. I have done ever since I graduated uni, and it's something I'll probably be doing for a while. 2010 is going to be big for me, I'm working my ass off playing 9+ hours a day online, playing 24 tables at a time. Playing about 15,000 hands a day. I should make 6 figures this year  Thanks Linda for dragging up my info  |
You remind of those Geeks Mark (not saying you're a geek) that were maths whizzes and all learnt to count cards and then took millions from vegas. They all got arrested though, but don't think it's illegal here.

Worked out there that the chance of someone being dealt 2 aces in a 5-player hand is 36-1. So 11 times in half an hour seems pretty unlikely... assuming I have calculated it right (probably haven't :P).
|
I would be pissed if I played on UB at that time :S
Though I dont have the money to lose much really...only play 20 quid at the most usually. |

I prefer to play Blackjack if I hit the casino; much less complicated and quite good odds on making money if you know what you're doing. One of my friends is much like yourself Mark (although not on such a grand scale!); plays a lot of online poker and plays in a lot of casinos; earns several hundred quid just playing for fun, he's started entering poker tournaments now too. Good luck with it all this year! |
