Okay maybe we have all been arguing over the wrong word. But accepting, is in a way respecting anyway right? You're aknowledging that other beliefs exist and other people live their life by them - for whatever reason, and continuing to let them live a peaceful life without insulting or doing anything that could be considered offensive.
