David Cameron thinks he's onto a winner by hijacking the whole Obama 'CHANGE' thing.

Hopefully tomorrow's result will not go his way.

Beastie 05-05-2010 10:13 PM

Conservative to win!

Shaun 06-05-2010 06:42 AM

Have voted :)

was quite boring actually, only 3 other people there...was the 11th person to vote here apparently. nice old bloke sat outside with a plaid suit, a stool and a newspaper.

so yeah, there's my first taste of democracy.

No "hoping" about it - it will.

By the way Obama is a democrat not a republican, so I can safely say Cameron has no interest in going down that road. I think you'll find its the Labour Party that wants to crawl up America's backside. Look at Blair who took us into an illegal war so he could cosy up to Bush.

Because of where I work, I am not sure I am allowed to say.

All I can say is that for personal reasons, I am boxed in to tactical voting a specific way rather than voting according to conscience.

Sad that you are Not Free Like us.

I Voted at 7AM Sharp.

Conservatives will Win.

Bliss.

Election day is here.
Anyone want to be brave and take a guess at the what the result will be? Remember there is still around 25% are still undecided and 40% could still change their mind

At the moment I would go for the Conservatives a few seats short of the majority mark. Factoring the undecided vote in, I think that will boost Labour most.
I would guess 35% Conservative, 31% Labour, 25% Lib Dem, 9% Others

I really hope the Tories dont get in either, but i dont really like Labour either, i just wish the Lib Dems could get in as the main party, but sadly thats not going to happen.

Crimson Dynamo 06-05-2010 10:02 AM

going out to vote at 12

the polling office is in a hut at the foot of the village. They will get around 20 people all day. Last time my cat followed me right into the booth.

Sticks 06-05-2010 10:34 AM

I vote by post because I am on my way to work before the polls open

just been to vote - kind of underwhelming i was expecting it too be more exciting than that ;p
on the plus side, on the way home some crazy man had all Graham Allen (Labour) flags/balloons all over his car and he was playing some badman music. made me chuckle.

arista 06-05-2010 12:35 PM

SkyNews , BBCNews and ITVNews
have all united to give there Exit polls as one tonight.

"10pm
The first key milestone comes with the release of the
official Sky/ITV/BBC exit poll - the first indication
of how votes have actually been cast."

This is a Good Idea.

You say things have got better in your town but thats more to do with local government.

We need a fresh change. So even if you hate the Tories vote holding your noses. We have had 13 years of Labour and people have had enough.

Obviousley you've not been one to suffer under a Tory govt, stay lucky eh..."safe hands"...haha 6 billion taken out of public services when we're not out of recession...hmmm itchy chin

King Gizzard 06-05-2010 02:17 PM

Just voted labour. I like our labour mp so yea.

Didn't even know I had been registered, I certainly didn't complete a form or anything, but I found a card with all my registered details so resulttttt.

Harry! 06-05-2010 03:26 PM

The Election was topics in class today. Most said Conservative. Think of the children, vote who the future voting generation want for PM.
