The fact he's the fave to win kinda goes against your point.

There's no morality in somebody like him winning.

I like housemates that are interesting, nothing at all to do with looks. take dale for example. I think he was the fittest housemate to ever be on BB...but he was a total knobend. And I disliked him. I even voted him out.

My favourites out of the last series' were Marcus/freddie, and Rex. I see marcus and rex as being very similar to JJ. So I must just be drawn to rude argumentative people on BB. They make it interesting.

Or are you going to tell me I fancied Rex and Marcus too?

dale survived an 8 way eviction and made it to week 9.

Exactly.

This is why Victor should of won BB5, A proper game player and it is a game show.

I meant if he (or any other housemate) admitted to having a gameplan/playing the game. Like Nick Bateman...

Then they would be hated

My step daughter is 15 and she doesn't watch BB and neither do any of her friends which is why I think that its mostly people a bit older watch it

Sophie really had to earn approval though, disliked straight away because she was a glam model. She let herself go, put some weight on, didnt care much for her looks whilst being in, really relaxed and wasnt 2-faced etc. Her personality won it as she went against what she initially looked like.

Meh, God knows why Brian won, he was just a thick idiot and Samanda were robbed that year! Rachel didnt seem intimidating when she got dressed up, just a lovely girl. Its the confident girls that take pride in looking good that are usually not liked, but men who work-out to stay in good shape are not looked upon in the same manner.

Hmmm, well nobody knows for certain, just different peoples opinion on who they think watch the show. :)

Zippy 26-07-2010 04:28 PM

Sophie had to win round the audience after instant hate.

With pretty boys its the other way round...they get instant fans and then have to mess up big time to lose them.

See I think the opposite, if they were open in the DR to us that they had a gameplan to avoid being nominated, Id have more respect, the fact they think they can fool us puts me right off.

And I used to think Josie and JJ's friendship was geniune, but now I think Josie just wants to be in his pants and JJ leading her on for the airtime. BB should stop trying to sell it as a romance, would make them more likable if it was seen upon as a friendship between a man and a woman, because normally theyre always accused of fancying each other and cant be just friends.

Summed up well Zippy!

I don't get how you can hate someone so much really, it must take so much energy to repeatedly make topics about the same HMs over and over again, doesn't it ever get boring? Because i get irritated coming on here and seeing about 50 threads of 'I hate Josie' 'John James is Vile!!!!!!!'

It's just boring.

That's not the 'experience'.

The experience is living in a confined space for numerous weeks with complete strangers, having no contact with the outside world.

And making friends for life/having fun/seeing what happens. That's the experience. The public watching doesn't come into it.

tpau21 26-07-2010 05:04 PM

JJ fans need to stop thinking with their penis and vaginas and realise aggresisive he is an aggresive peice of shiitt

Another who either didnt read the thread, or just wants to miss the point.

Oh yay

LOL. I dont think he would make several 23hr killer journies just for that. He doesn't even seem very sociable in groups.

My guess is that he's here to play game. He's studied it and thinks he knows the formula. The tricks, the buttons to press.

And youre naive if you think being watched by millions isn't a factor. These BB HMs are all varying degrees of exhibitionists.

Braden 26-07-2010 05:36 PM

He can't be defined as a good-looking person though.

It's only your opinion, just because you think he's good looking doesn't mean everyone has to .

The Point is the Public are going to be a massive part of your life after the show and play a massive part of your Experience in the show.. Not giving a **** about them is the wrong way to go.. All those things you mentioned you can do without being in the big brother house... the public are the bigger Picture in the Gameshow

flamingGalah! 26-07-2010 05:49 PM

I have never said he has no personality, he does... a nasty, aggresive, argumentative, spiteful one... If you like that sort of person good for you, unfortunately not my cup of tea thanks... :xyxwave:

Your point is not axiomatic.

I do not find John James attractive, and am baffled by those who do, but each to their own. I dislike him because he professes NOT to be playing a game, when quite evidently he is, (I've no problem with that but cant stand him for denying it) He professes NOT to like liars (although he lies). He professes that he is not at all attracted to Josie or romantically interested in her yet he continues to lead her on. He professes NOT to care about public perception, yet he is continuously banging on about other people's game plans, and how they are being perceived. He picks on people that he perceives to be weaker than himself in order to grandstand and create dramas around himself. He is the biggest HYPOCRITE in the house, and I detest hypocrites.

But you need not worry since the producers have made JJ1 their chosen one and despite him breaking the rules talking about noms with Dave, it is not he who is up for eviction, and despite him breaking out of the house, they have allowed him back in. He is even prepared to break a girl's heart to win, that's how nasty he really is.

He is sly, manipulative and devious and I can't imagine why you would think anyone could be jealous of such a lying snake? I'm certainly not (oh and by the way I'm female and can assure you I find him totally repulsive).
