Yeah.racsism does excist in Britain , but not to that extent, and I would think that the hardcore of racists that are out there are not tuned into BB and worrying about who is going to win.

I was never a fan of Faria in the first place.She is there for dubious reasons.But I am really offended that ;

a.She should say such a dumb ass thing with nothing to back it up.Especially when there are non-brits in the house who might actually believe it.

b.She has used it as an excuse so that when she walks tommorow , she can feel smug 'in a told you so way'.Therefore excusing the real reason that she was not a very good HM and most people were against her being in a celeb house anyway.

To be honest Legend, if you think that people favour white housemates because of their colour, then you are calling people racist.

I can totally understand how people can change their opinion of someone over one comment, depending on what that comment is. I had my suspicions the other day when she was talking about black men to Dennis - the way she was speaking made it sound as if she was being derogatory to black men in general, but on that occasion I only half heard what she said, so I gave her the benefit of the doubt.

Racism is bigotry, and bigotry is totally unattractive in anyone.

Faria's comment was out of order, and I suspect she knows it which is why she is trying to make amends. I doubt it will work though - her comments reflect her true opinions, which are very unattractive. It's put me off her, and I shall be voting to evict her on Wednesday.

My favourite housemate ever to be on BB is Victor and i'm sure its the same for many others so i cant see how she can go making comments like that, its not true at all.

As Ruth said, I don't want to drag this on now, because we're off tangent of BB - but at that party I heard her asking Traci for advice to date Dennis, & she actually said - trying to "sell" herself to Traci to passon - (my interpretation) -see the commentry from las night in Live feeds, - I have black friends who listen to black music, I like all sorts of music, Asian, some others the 2 Pac which Traci said "what? in her shreiky voice - really? Oh yeah said Faria - now I thought that was OTT but dismissed it as just trying to impress, but she said last week she would NEVER date him! Why so desperate last night - that;s not the point though using "Black Music" is wrong - music is Genre, pop, punk, drum & bass, rock n roll reggae - not a colour! put with today's outburst I know who'll I'll be voting out even if she does feel smug - I'll be joining Ruth! I think what Faria said was the opposite of racist. She said that the voting public would never let a black or an asian win. She said nothing negative about the race, just about the public. So I definitely think there is more fuss than there needs to be. Racism is being against a group or minority, what faria said was not against black or asian people. I dislike the woman but what she said was not racist. I think some of you need to find out the real definition of racism before acusing people of being so. Because what she said was definitely not racist.
