Sorry for your loss OP, very sad news

It had to be questioned - that was obvious! Lots of people having their doubts - just reluctant to say so!

Livia 05-08-2010 03:03 PM

Condolences. Aleha ha-shalom.

lime 05-08-2010 03:18 PM

InOne,how amazingly insensitive, as for not being a regular poster, I thinkwith their MUM being so ill, their time has been needed in far more important ways than to be commenting here on BB. Also people react in very different ways to a loss like this, and maybe JUST maybe they came on here first to occupy their mind, occupy it with an interest their beloved Mum had as in likelg BB, feeloing they mat be doinf something for her. Secondly and in your case clearly not, possibly even hoping for support and encouragement from epople with a like minded interest

I don't know ? poster, if you are religious in any way, but I went out after I read this and lit a candle in Church for your Mum. I won't presume to know how you must be feeling but please look after yourself. alsop please talk about it too, most people are decent and often it is easier to talk to strangers than close ones when this happens.

Your Mum sounded a brave lady, make sure her hopes and all she stood for carry on in life through you.
My sincere and deepeast sadness at your loss. Please take care of yourself.

If you don't believe the OP for whatever reason how about just not post in the thread? Not very nice to question the validity of what he/she is saying about their mum really, and everyone deals with things like this differently, who is anyone here to question them?

Niamh. 05-08-2010 03:39 PM

I'm going to close this if you don't stop arguing in here which would be a shame for the op, so please leave it be now or continue through PM

joeysteele 05-08-2010 03:39 PM

Unbelievable response InOne,I feel sorry for you being so sceptical, but thats not the poster's problem, Kinder to say nothing than what and the way you have reacted.

Of course its your right to do so, but I am glad I don't think like you.

joeysteele 05-08-2010 03:41 PM

My apologies Niamhxo.

You may have your doubts but if thats all the are, doubts and not fact then why not just think it to yourself and stay clear of the thread incase you are wrong.. this poster is telling us thier mum has passed away and I feel it deserves some respect.

I have steered clear of the thread - just popped in now and again, like you!

But no doubt it sounded a bit odd - but nevertheless people have given the poster the benefit of the doubt!

Heaven has gained an Angel:angel: R.I.P so sorry

Sticks 05-08-2010 08:00 PM

? PM me your facebook details and I will do the friend adding and veracity checking since some have raised that issue here and have indicated they will not take up this offer.

Can I remind others about what happened with Angie a while back when she died and others accused her daughter of lying?

I do realise that there are individuals who are trolls and like to yank people's change, but when proof is offered and not taken that seems disingenuous.

EzzaB 05-08-2010 08:01 PM

My Dad died 2 months ago (on the 4th June) exactly 2 months before the OPs mum, and I made a topic about it on another forum, only to get slated and people telling me that posting something like that on a forum is 'weird'. Just saying. Sorry for your loss OP, may your mum, and my Dad rest in peace
