And its actually not unusual for guys to get attached to girls they spend a lot of time with. Not all blokes think with their dangly bits :D

I always have a hard time being romantic and attached to a girl once I'm in a relationship with her. I'm very self-conscious, anxious (that's typically French) and a bit scared that she's going to screw me somehow but once I'm comfortable, I can freely say that I like cuddles, I like being cheesy somehow (not much yo!) and spending 2 hours on the phone or just looking at her.

But if you screw me up, baby, I'll be worse than your painful periods believe me.

John James and Josie remind me of them. A lot of the negative things that are said about John James now were also said about Paul back then.

I love it when James creeps out of the woodwork and posts a comment. Hey! :xyxwave:

And Ben...as for your ridiculous comment about it being only people who are alone who think stuff is fake(which I missed the first time of reading this thread)...load of rubbish. If anything, the people who desperately believe any romance that is thrust down our throats are more likely to be alone I would imagine.

Well on the basis of tibb, the majority that called the relationship fake didnt have a partner, saying that the majority of tibb doesnt. lol.
So maybe not the best to go on, but hey i think more people without a partner are more likely to call fake.

Absolutely nothing wrong with being a romantic.
I did not see JJJ as the prefectly "in love couple", but we are all different.
I have never had any sort of relationship with a fella that could keep his hands off me so to speak. That is why I found JJ to be a bit lukewarm to say the least.
It is very reasonable to believe that couples can fall for each other in the BB house, just think of all those holiday romances that happen in real life.

As to talk of romance fading in a relationship, my hubby is as romantic as ever after 33 years together, and he can not be the only one.

This turned into an interesting thread! A good read. I think the reason I'm so cynical is because of the state of society today. Kids of 16 claiming they're in love when really is mostly lust. I probably sound paronising but it's a fact they are naive to the world. The word 'love' is thrown around too easy these days. Especially on BB, I don't think it even has much meaning.

Princess 27-09-2010 08:13 PM

Yeah but if someone says they're in love,we really don't have right to say they're not. I've been called naive A LOT but I've never liked all the couples, just the ones I think are real. Maybe I'm just optimistic about love,I don't know.

Mystic Mock 27-09-2010 08:15 PM

i believe most bb romances are fake as when they fall in love on the first night, yes dale and jennifer im looking at you and then when these bb couples come out of the house and make there money out of magazine deals they mysteriously break up.

i honestly still dont get how people still fall for the blatent fake ones.

I wasn't saying you're naive just some people. Yes we don't have a 'right' to question but it's only natural. It's just annoying when people use the word love as an excuse to stay together when there is clearly no love in the relationship if you get me. Humans are very good at picking up on body language, and other little tells.

I'm a bit fed up with it to honest, you have your opinions and I have mine, there's no need to treat me like an idiot just cos I'm not cynical about every single Big Brother couple in existence.

But what is wrong with believing in a couple?? Yeah you might not like them but why pick on me?? I've been obsessed before,I know a lot of them they can break up,it doesn't mean I can't like them for the time being. What is it that is so disgusting and horrifying to a lot of you about fans of Big Brother couples???

Nothing wrong with being romantic at all,but it gets a bit iffy when you have all the evidence there in front of you and still believe it's for real, not many of them are but the last couple were clearly never a loving couple.but you are entitalled to your opinion, just most people will not agree, there was only a handfull on this forum that believed Josie and Crabby were for real,I do think Josie loved him(or thought she did),but him, sorry,no
