...well, no it's not, or else it would be called the 'Singing Factor'. I suggest you Google for the definition of the phrase 'X Factor', because it's not just the name of a TV show, it has definition - maybe then you'll understand why it's not just a singing competition, and it incorporates a lot of other factors.

Get it in your ****ing head that it's not just about the singing, the X factor has never been just about singing the judges have mentioned this countless times.. She clearly does - stage presence, image and personality. All three traits she definitely has. Her vocal talent isn't the strongest, but it's certainly not awful. So looks like she does have the 'X Factor' after all, hence why she's still there :xyxwave:

The whole thing - going to the mentor 2nd - and then ignoring her seemed very weird, I must say. Pity Treyc is gone, IMO.

I think she is talented, but it's apparent to me that she just doesn't put the necessary work in and that she isn't taking it seriously enough. Some "passion".

It must be worrying for her mom to hear all this abuse aimed at her daughter and then turn up to Xtra Factor like it's alright, Katie has chosen to be on the show but I would feel the same if I had a son or daughter in that position.. I may dislike someone e.g. Paije based on personality even though I do like his performances but I don't hate the guy or start getting personal:).

Shes still there because the judges bum her. Nothing more.

The public dont seem to have taken to her 'x factor' ;)

Katies been grabbing headlines and getting people talking since her first audition. So she clearly has something...passion, desperation..whatever, its SOMETHING.

Forums can count for good and bad press and like Simon says it's better than having nothing, at least she's making an impact even if you dislike her.. TreyC should have made more of an impact hence why some forgot who she was and Cheryl should have focused on her more;).
