It was a bit of a scary dream I had. It was like I was Alice but then afterwards I saw Alice in front of me. One of them dreams when you are the character but then in the next scene.. you are yourself and see the character in front of you! Weird.

I don't know why she would kill her but she seems like a bit of a bitch, maybe she accidentally did it? and yeah, that was the first episode when Ruth went into town and she walked through a park I think and a woman walked past her with a blonde girl and Ruth looked back and the girl turned round and did a sign

Anne Reid is a wonderful actress and brought some very moving scenes in last night's episode.

I did wonder if Ruth might have murdered her daughter, only she's not aware of this, then it started going all Shutter Island on me so I stopped thinking.

It's quite a moving story, so far....

Oh yeah I remember that. She did a "sign" but I can't remember what it was? Was it a peace sign or something. Oh my god. She might have something to do with it

I reckon she saw something but I don't think she did it. I think she did a kind of cicle with her finger, don't know what that means though

I hope the answer is far away from where people are trying to work it out. I don't like the thought it could be one of the family and would feel a little cheated if that was the case.

I'm really enjoying the mystery that surrounds the death of Alice and if the first two episodes are anything to go by, I'm really excited about the rest of the episodes.

yeah, I'm really enjoying it too. But the only characters we know from the 60's are her family and the deaf girl, well so far anyhow!

True. There are 3 episodes to go! Can't wait until it all unravels. :) There is also something to do with the painting on the wall.... in 2010.. that pregnant woman peeled that wall with that big painting and Alice was on it. But apparently in the 60's.. in that photograph of Alice in her room.. Alice's painting of herself was not on the wall in the woods? Mmm.
