I still love Ellie! I just think a lot of Gaga fans inparticular are just so OTT of everything she does.

And how do you know those writing the reviews were doubters and fence sitters? Christ. Music critics are known for eating everything up that has been overhyped. It means absoloutely nothing.

I wasn't specifically talking about media critics. Just the everyday ordinary millions who havent been sucked in and brainwashed into thinking she's something never seen before in pop.

Media critics suck ass. Probably hoping for an interview when she starts whoring her album....

Well, either way it's breaking records and selling well, I don't think she particularly cares whether or not people who aren't fans dislike it

EXPRESSING YOURSELF: Whether or not it sounds like Madonna's "Express Yourself" or "Vogue," Lady Gaga's "Born This Way" appears headed to around 500k downloads in only three days after hitting the web yesterday. Apparently, her first-day sales will not top the 651k Ke$ha's "Tik Tok" did on Christmas 2009, but it's still an impressive total, which could climb even higher with a Grammy performance tomorrow night. Stay tuned. The Interscope album itself drops May 23.

There's nothing to love or hate, It's insignificant to me. It sounds like a continuation to her other album. Comparing her to Madonna is an insult to Madonna. Madonna evolved from Album to album mama monster brought out the same sound. Madonna could rock a simple brown hair and a simple t **** and jeans and still sell. Would gaga without all the gimmicks?

Little monsters reply:bitch what the f do you know about music. She would sooooooooooo sell without all the gimmicks.

Go listen to The Fame then The Fame Monster, fan or not people recognize that as a massive leap foreward in the quality of her music

Her and Nicky minaj hype jst leaves me baffled. I just don't get it. It must be because there's not a lot of variety nowadays. If it's not black eyed peas on top it's rihanna. I guess people are craving and these two fill up the space well.

Both of them are talent musicians who both write their own, catchy songs. The Black Eyed peas haven't been on top for ages, their past two albums have been utterly atrocious and in comparison to Rated R, Rihanna's new album is pretty poor too.

Zippy 13-02-2011 01:29 PM

just to clearly expose the similarities and show which is the dominant and much better song

Smithy 13-02-2011 01:33 PM

I love how you're comparing it to Express yourself, when in reality that was a rip off of the Staple sisters Respect Yourself

and I love how youve copied that line from reading elsewhere!

if it were copied from the Staple sisiters(I cba to check) at least it wasnt snatched from such an obvious source.

I mean, way to kill the Madonna comparisons!

I didn't copy it :bored:

I paraphrased it tyvm

Ithinkiloveyoutoo 13-02-2011 01:58 PM

 What does Gaga have to say?

Yo dawg this is an David Bowie, Vanilla Ice situation.

I'm not sure if Madonna cares. But I don't see this becoming an Nicky minaj lil kim situation.

reece(: 13-02-2011 02:22 PM

its a load of rubbish, anti-climax certainly!

Deirdre 13-02-2011 06:30 PM

I think it's ok. But it's very bad compared to other Gaga singles which I think is why most people are pissed off. Not to mention it was way too over-hyped. Popjustice said it's one of the best songs of the past 10 years or something. Er, what?
Also, the lyrics make me cringe every time I hear it :(
Let's just pray that this is one of the weaker songs on the album. :S

Callum 13-02-2011 07:09 PM

I hope Judas is amazing, just from the song title I have a good feeling about it. Gaga seems to very biblical lately, lots of references to God in Born This Way and then she has a new song called Judas, who was the disciple who betrayed Jesus for gold.

well aparently she had an inspired 10 minutes(that long?) in which she wrote this crap....then the rest of the album just poured out with ease. Like diarreah probably.

so don't get your hopes up if this was the inspiration

Twilight 13-02-2011 07:17 PM
