Couldn't agree more. Much along the same lines Lewis as the ones who put small pets in microwaves for the sheer hell of it - because they think harming a defenceless animal is funny.

Zara looks like a fox :amazed:

It's nature Zippy. Wild mice happen to be omnivores. It's called the food chain. Didn't your school lessons teach you anything? :joker:

And to keep you right.... my cat as shown ate mice. She didn't kill to play, she killed to eat. She was semi feral. ;)

Are you a veggie Zip?

hell no!

but she posted a pic of her cat with a dead mouse and then says how horrible it is that animals suffer for no reason. Well hello.

I have no problem with wild animals killing to eat. But domestic cats kill for fun.

Shows that there is a difference between what a person 'thinks' they know, and what they actually know. Not all domestic cats kill for fun. Mine and certainly my neighbour's cat - both hunt and eat mice. It is instinct Zippy - it is nature.

Unlike careless pet owners who cause an horrific death to their own pet due to their own laziness - because someone couldn't be arsed to cover a bucket of wallpaper paste and put it out of harms way - and were too unconcerned about their own pet to keep an eye on their pet while it was out of it's cage - leaving it to its own devices, to meet it's death, whilst everyone was in bed sleeping.

Hellloooooo ....... !!!

I had a hamster once and we woke up one morning and found him drowned in a bucket of wallpaper paste. We still dont know how the hell he got there. Poor thing.
Give me a pet owner who allows nature to kick in, over a careless, lazy and unthoughtful and inconsiderate one, anyday.

Now stop derailing the thread Zippy. The reason for you doing so is so transparent.

Back on topic.......

-wants a kitten now-

She's beautiful Vicky

Used to have a mouse and an hamster at the same time. We went to get the mouse from a lady in another town.. popped into the pet shop on the way there to get some things for it and saw a hamster in one of the display things trying its very best to eat its way out. We watched it for about half an hour and all it did was dig at the corner of the case where there was air coming through. We decided to get it and then had hammy the hamster and mousy the mouse. Mousy died in her cage underneath her log bed :( And we had to give hammy away when we got the dog... miss mousy a lot :(

Like baby clothes, she'll grow into it... plus she'll get used to it, it'll soften up and take her own wee neck shape in the meantime.

She's a wee cracker. the smudge on the nose gives her that adorable look. Hell...who am I kidding. She's a kitten...... adorability factor is through the roof....smudge or no smudge!
