It's the stupidest post I've read here in awhile. Paddy usually delivers the goods on that front. It's absurd to suggest that only Channel 4 arselickers don't like the show. Why are my unsurprised you think it's a 'sensible post'? It makes about as much sense as a trampoline made out of paracetamol.

MTVN 31-08-2011 05:19 PM

A trampoline made out of paracetamol, one of the more interesting analogies I've heard

I'd like to see one of them!

And off to the Dragon's Den I go.

Only miserable little Channel 4 arse lickers who can't accept change have switched off.

i like Jedward and stopped watching for a week (decided to catch up because it has its good bits) but my main problem is Marcus' new narration. Only thing that reaaaaaaally pisses me off.

MeMyselfAndI 31-08-2011 05:40 PM

Yeah Marcus new Narration is the only thing i dislike tbh.

Barbie 31-08-2011 06:27 PM

Haven't watched for about a week now, dipped in and out i vaguely know what is going on. Its because i really dont like Jedward and im finding it hard to watch a show that is so focused on them, its more of a chore than being enjoyable so i dont think i'll watch CBB this year.

Shaun 31-08-2011 06:29 PM

I've only watched 3 episodes so far. So yeah, me.

GypsyGoth 31-08-2011 07:23 PM

I'm watching more of it now than I was at the start of it :amazed:

fruit_cake 31-08-2011 07:26 PM

havent started watching it yet

echo cafe 31-08-2011 07:52 PM

Just about Hanging in there, watching out of habit i guess.

Valdora 31-08-2011 07:54 PM

I have always enjoyed the show, even when others hated it. I liked bb11 for instance.

The first Saturday show I turned off in disgust, but once I got used to it and the editing/Marcus calmed down I have enjoyed it since. Now when Jedward are on I want to throw my TV out the window, but the fact other housemates go off on them keeps me watching. I am just hoping for the day when Paddy or Darryn finally snap on them.

isnt it funny how all of this anger and angst towards channel 5 has stemmed from them not supplying live feed, would people be moaning and complainging about the show like this if live feed was still around i wonder

Jarrod 31-08-2011 07:57 PM

I love CBB. It's amazing so far :amazed: EVICTIONNN

you've obviously missed the other big factor mentioned on this thread...Jedward.

Indeed I don't even see many mentioning LF.

MTVN 31-08-2011 07:59 PM

I'm surprised how many people have stopped actually, as far as CBB series go it really isn't bad at all, there's a good mix of housemates in there and there's been some great moments. Yeah the show focuses a lot on Jedward but there's always a housemate or two that gets more air time than the others so it's not really anything new and the editing, while not strictly necessary, is so easy to overlook, I don't really see the problem with the odd flashback or bit of music personally.

To say channel 5 have ruined BB or that it's a completely different show isn't really true, there'll always be good series and bad series, good housemates and bad housemates, and this one is actually decent imo and it's doing a lot better than I expected

Well yes fewer would complain because there would be other options to avoid the terrible editing. Choices make everything better.

No, they're not ..... the odious twosome are the source of most discontent ..... :yuk:

Stu 31-08-2011 08:13 PM

I'm suddenly realising that I just don't care about the show at all anymore really. MTVN's right and it's probably not a bad series it's just ... I don't know ... I'm sitting here watching Only Fools reruns on GOLD and I literally couldn't care less who gets evicted. Not one part of me feels like turning over to Channel 5. I'd rather watch repeats of scripted sitcoms. They're better.

Grimnir 31-08-2011 08:38 PM

i stopped watching last thursday

it was just too dull

since thursday i have been watching Star Trek: The Next Generation, which is far better entertainment :D

Ok I don't agree with the first part. But the for the second you get the badge of awesomeness. I just watched Best of Both Worlds again. Soooo good.

are you not gonna watch the main show either?

Im hoping it will be somewhat better than CBB. A lot comes down to the cast at the end of the day.

Stu 01-09-2011 12:29 AM

I'll start watching it and if I lose interest then I lose interest I guess. If it's edited like CBB and has no Live Feed I don't have much hope though. I used to be a massive fan of the totalitarian, avant garde sort of aesthetic and production of Big Brother. Without that and the whole feel that it's a massive event the public and press is following live bit by bit it's just become another reality show. And I'd rather watch one less time consuming where stuff happens all the time outside the confines of a more or less same formula I've been watching for five or six years.

Plus those other shows go the full hog. Big Brother just seems stuck in this bizarre production limbo. Every time music gets played it's like someone's just turned up the radio next to me. It doesn't feel right at all.

I dunno. I'm tired of it all. It wont be what it once was and I can't embrace the new changes so I took everyones advice and switched off.

keithafc 01-09-2011 12:43 AM

Everyone here is probably still watching it. Just denying it. Its still ok.
