i read somewhere once that humans went through an almost amphibious phase of evolution several million years ago
they started to spend a lot of time in lakes and swamps, to escape the many predators roaming africa and it was during this time that our ancestors first stood erect, because they had to always keep their head above water/marshland so maybe back then millions of years ago, the women gave birth under water pregnant women back then would probably be like chubby hippos |
