I remember her on Strictly. The judges all complimented her.

MusicXian 24-03-2012 07:15 PM

Wow awesome!

GiRTh 24-03-2012 07:15 PM

She's better than most of the XF winners. Amazing.

Maia 24-03-2012 07:16 PM

She was very good

GiRTh 24-03-2012 07:19 PM

Great show. Now for the dross on ITV.

Maia 24-03-2012 07:22 PM

That was great :D Very refreshing

MusicXian 24-03-2012 07:26 PM

Excellent show. Think the standard is very high.

Fetch The Bolt Cutters 24-03-2012 07:41 PM

am i the only one who thought this was terrible? D:

Doogle 24-03-2012 07:43 PM

Brilliant, enjoyed every second. Great banter with the judges that doesn't take away from the acts themselves. No stupid deluded people that we're supposed to laugh at. No adverts. Sob stories not played up that much, and the judges don't even know until after. The ones that don't get through only get constructive criticism, I love Holly & Reggie.

The whole thing was just so good, wasn't a dull moment and yet they didn't need to rely on people who can't sing.

I liked it, I didn't think I would.

I have to agree, I was on DS and they were all like IT'S ****ING DREADFUL, NOT WATCHING ANYMORE. I was all shut up, it's the first show :idc:

I loved the banter, and they didn't even get that either.

I love the red-headed girl whose name I've forgotten. Ben, Adam and Max and I adore Jessica.

MTVN 24-03-2012 08:31 PM

It would have got a bit boring if it was on much longer, it was good though and brought something a bit new to the singing contest format

Contestants who can sing.:spin:

It kind of threw me that all of them were good, but that makes me want to watch even more. Even the two who weren't chosen would still have got thru to bootcamp on XF.

Black Dagger 24-03-2012 08:43 PM

I didn't think they were all amazing though, I mean, the purple haired girl didn't sound great, but then again Crazy is a strong song, it shouldn't be touched IMO, but we'll see if she outdoes her opponent on #TEAMTOM in the battle rounds.

Locke. 24-03-2012 09:21 PM

Just watched it, a lot better than all the other talent shows. All the judges are actually likeable aswell, there is usually at least one that no one can stand (expected it to be Will but I thought he came across quite well and funny).

Black Dagger 24-03-2012 09:23 PM

Yes, I liked the fact they were all likeable, but saying that, it was when the live shows kicked in when I despised Kelly/Gary.

I can see Jessie J getting on my nerves in a few weeks, but she's fine for now.

joeysteele 24-03-2012 10:26 PM

I thought I wouldn't like this show but I really did enjoy it, only thing I would like is if the coaches couldn't see what other coaches had pressed to turn their chair around.
I felt really sorry though for the guy from 'Five'.

Yes though, I think BBC have a winner with this series.

Locke. 24-03-2012 10:40 PM

Simon's tweet to Jessie :joker: https://twitter.com/#!/SimonCowell

Niamh. 24-03-2012 10:43 PM

It was far better than the X Factor

Lee. 24-03-2012 10:54 PM

I have to say, I thought it was fairly ****e... will keep watching though as I may begin to enjoy it after a while

Marc 25-03-2012 10:30 AM

I really like this show, mainly for the anticipation of the coaches pressing their buttons :) and whenever they do I get excited! :D

Joe. 25-03-2012 10:50 AM

LOVED IT. I went to see the 'Battle-Rounds' Live in February which were the 'Bootcamp-style' stages if you like so knew like who went through.

New BBC talent show The Voice UK launched with impressive ratings last night.

BBC One's new singing contest averaged 8.43m (37.6%) between 7pm and 8.20pm, peaking with 9.6m (42.3%) at 7.45pm.

Notably, The Voice has premiered with a much higher audience than The X Factor in 2004 and Britain's Got Talent in 2007.

Black Dagger 25-03-2012 11:57 AM

Absolutely amazing ratings for The Voice.

I imagine they will dip by a couple of million next week who didn't think it was what they expected. But I think for a debut show it's lived up to the hype.

So pleased.

Me. I Am Salman 25-03-2012 11:58 AM

During the pair's much-anticipated 20-minute clash between 8pm and 8.20pm, The Voice UK easily came out on top with 8.9m (36.2%) against Got Talent's 6.71m (27.3%).

However BGT had an average of 9.43m and peaked at 10.93m
