Really close race, one of the best I have seen.

Marc 14-04-2012 05:16 PM

Did either of mine die? They usually do when I bet on them

Kate! 14-04-2012 06:04 PM

Mystic Mock 14-04-2012 06:06 PM

Well done to the top 4, and wtf Marc lol?

Mrluvaluva 14-04-2012 08:48 PM

I wish I would have placed a bet on this instead of Shakalakaboomboom. :bawling:

Kate! 14-04-2012 10:12 PM

I bet on Shakalakaboomboom as well today. Was chuffed when it led the field most of the way then it all went wrong :(

Synchronised and According to Pete were the two that died

Ammi 15-04-2012 12:14 PM

..very sad
..this is why I don't like this race

joeysteele 15-04-2012 12:36 PM

It is really sad that again 2 horses died, more really needs to be done to avoid this in the future, reduction in the number of Horses would help and also again reduce the heights of fences. It does ruin the day when any loss of life occurs like this.

It's been the same since I was a kid though Joey. Beechers Brook along with one or two other jumps have always been the main areas of injuries that have required the horses to be put down. They makes small 'improvements' but it doesn't change the final effect. Horses still are injured and have to be put down decades later.

A tenner it cost me :bored: The jockey must have made a mistake or it would have had it tied up otherwise
