That was rather amusing and well written. Nice one! :joker:
I just carried on reading it as if it was factual like the previous paragraph, hook line & sinker.

And on the 'supporting your own' thing; I'm Welsh and very proud to be so but if a Welsh housemate was being a horrible twat the fact that they were Welsh wouldn't make me think they were any less of a twat and therefore they wouldn't get my support.
If anything i'd be more critical of them because they were from my home country and were setting a bad example.
Basically, if you're a twat you're a Universal twat (like Conor!) :laugh3:

Nonetheless allow me to settle the question of whether Connor is Irish or British, for those who might be interested. Article 2 of the Southern Irish constitution was amended as part of the peace agreement in Northern Ireland. It now reads:

It is the entitlement and birthright of every person born in the island of Ireland, which includes its islands and seas, to be part of the Irish Nation. That is also the entitlement of all persons otherwise qualified in accordance with law to be citizens of Ireland. Furthermore, the Irish nation cherishes its special affinity with people of Irish ancestry living abroad who share its cultural identity and heritage.

However a further amendment will shortly be put to refferendum. It will add the words "except Connor from Big Brother" to the end of the first sentence. hahahahaha, love it

I think in some ways, culturally, you understand people a bit more so maybe they don't seem as bad to you. I know when i see Americans on the show, i see them being misunderstood a lot. So i do think culture has it's part to play in how people perceive you. People do judge people through a prejudiced lens.

I think Isaac from BB10, even though he was only there for a few days, i noticed a lot of brits were calling him arrogant and nasty, but when i watched him i didn't see him that way at all, they just didn't get his personality and his sense of humor.

Conor is NOT British.

He is from Northern Ireland. Britain only consists of three countries: England, Scotland and Wales.

He is Irish, or Northern Irish if you are that way inclined.

He would not see himself as British anyway, considering where he's from and his religion, I would doubt it anyway.

And as for the "Irish vote" - I don't think people will vote for people just because they're from the same place. Initially you're going to be more interested in the HM as they are from the same area and have the same culture, ways of doing things, dialect (which is noticable with Conor for me anyway) but if you don't like the HM then you don't like them, simple as that.

For example, Caoimhe was Irish but I didn't like her.
