Actually he did. She assumed he was a man because he made himself appear to be a man. He changed his body, voice, name, etc. Luke knows when he gets into a relationship with people, he's hiding vital things about himself. It's difficult because most of us don't have to worry about having to reveal our real gender to others; he does.

Even if the law says you can now be a man, it doesn't mean you really are. Biologically, Luke is a woman. Luke has a vagina, not a penis. If Luke stops taking his meds, he'll go back to being a woman. We, as a society, make accommodations for people that's why as much as we know Luke is biologically a woman, we refer to Luke as him, not her.

As much as he's entitled to live his life in a body that's comfortable for him, let's not forget he has to hide things about himself. Even his employer did not know he was a woman until the series started.

I once lost a biscuit in a cup of tea so I can totally relate to him.

well i disagree with you. I think everyone hides certain things in the beginnings of a relationship. To me it's no different then a woman wearing loads of makeup or putting chicken fillets in their bras to make their breasts look bigger. Everyone hides certain things to be more attractive to people at the start. He never lied about being a man because he is a man.

It would be lying if he pretended to have a penis or specifically, but i don't think he did lie about having a penis. We all put on a facade when we are dating i think, and clearly his wife doesn't feel like she was duped because they are still together. So if she doesn't feel lied to then who are you to say she was lied to?

Guys are interested in anything that would feel good, and i'm sure vaginas feel really good. But in terms of body type and style, i'm atrracted to guys. But yea, an abercrombie model with a vag would be hot.

As a hetero female wouldn't you find that hot? I know lots of str8 guys are into "lady boys" and "she-males/chicks with dicks". It's pretty much the same thing, just opposite.

I just saw this LOL, I dont think I would be attracted to a guy with a vag or a woman with a penis hahahahaha. No way no how!!

Fair enough to disagree with me, but I stand behind my opinion. If I started dating a man and found out later he was a biological woman, that lying by omission is far more severe than if he stuffed his pants to make himself appear well-endowed.

I think your example of using make-up or stuffing bras does not help with your own argument because you're confirming that he's in fact taking drastic steps to make himself appear to be who he's not. You talk about women stuffing their bras, but Luke had his breasts removed. He's done everything to make himself appear to be someone he's naturally not. He's deceiving people from the start and he knows he is which is why he admits he has a secret.

We give each other the benefit of the doubt by assuming a person is the way they present themselves. He has gone through extraordinary lengths to appear to be someone he's really not. He's legally a man, but that's just paperwork. We all know he's not.

Men have penises, men can produce sperm. If Luke gets a penis, it's going to be done through surgery by taking hormones. He will never be able to produce sperm. He can be very advanced scientifically, but there are some occasions where nature will trump science.

and what about men who arn't fertile, maybe they had a form of cancer that makes them unable to have children, shoulkd a man have to tell a girl he is infertile on the first date, or a woman who can't have biological children.

You think it's offensive if they don't say it in the first date? It's no different than luke A.

Believe it or not, being able to have children is not the most important thing in a relationship. This is the year 2012, women and men arn't just getting into a relationship to procreate. For most of us it's about love, not just making babies.

I knew you were going to say something like this which is why I used the word 'can' - as in having the ability to do something. A man can produce sperm, a woman will never be able to.

This is not a question of fertility so the issue of procreation is moot; this is a question of biological identity - man versus woman.

If we're talking about deceit, I believe a woman stuffing her bra and a woman who's gone through a process to make herself appear to be someone she's biologically not are light years apart.

that's perfectly fine, that you have such a problem with it, but you must also realize not everyone is as bothered by it as you are. There are plenty of people perfectly happy to fall in love under these circumstances, and yur opinion means nothing to them.

You are free to fall in love with whomever you like, and i don't think Luke A is casting any judgement on YOUR choices, so maybe you should think twice before you start casting judgements on HIS or anyone elses relationships.

Who you love is yur business, and who he loves is his.

I'm not saying you can't have an opinion, but i do wonder why you seem so pationate about your judgements, is it because you are projecting your own values on other people? if so, you should keep your values to yourself imho.

Why can't you just be happy for him and his wife that they have found love under such extrodinary circumstances?

Completely photoshopped, a man with a booty that perky and round is not natural. At least Ive never seen one like that.
