I didn't imagine he said it. I'm giving you my interpretation of it. You disagree, and that's fine.

John Lennon made a similar statement in the 60s, outrage followed and discussions as to whether he literally meant that the Beatles were bigger than Jesus. Everyone's going to interpret it differently depending on whether they rate him. I just don't rate him.
