It astounds me that people think Shirley Williams is relevant anymore, she was from all I have read an at best only just fair Education secretary, she was a total turncoat and walked out of her party, after she lost her seat however, a couple of years before and when they were consigned to opposition. She won further seats but failed to hold any and now in my view anyway talks the greatest load of tripe you are likely to hear from a Politician. |
Quite boring, hopefully the topics and guests will hot up a bit.
I missed last weeks, recorded it and will catch up. |
Gove destroying Will Self, who'd have thought it
|
Of all the panellests I was really impressed with Michael Gove to be fair.
|
Mehdi Hasan :worship:
|
Meh people like him always irritate me, just standard populist rhetoric designed to get a lot of claps
|
At least it's the truth
'Supported by the International Monetary Fund, those well known Marxists' :laugh3: |
Find a lot of the faux outrage over the Mail article pretty silly, someone being dead doesn't make them immune from critcism, neither does the fact he served in the navy..
|
Poor Quentin getting laughed at
|
It doesn't make them immune but spinning blatant lies (as is always the case with the Mail) to push their political agenda is disgusting
THEM LAUGHING AT THIS ****** <333333 hope he gets spat at |

:hugesmile:That Jack was the line of the night, I thought that was a great moment. |
Mail leaked a letter from him basically pleading for a job from 3 years ago in response
ouch |
Sarah Churchwell making some good points today, not surprising coming from such a great institution
|
Paris Rees might be an inspirational figure but I dont think shes the sharpest tool in the box, Jeremy Browne came across best tonight imo
|
I thought it was a rather dull QT tonight, they all made pretty valid points on issues raised.
I'd say I agreed with Paris more than the rest of them however, just. |
Yeah it wasnt the best, Nigel Farage next week so should get a bit lively then at least

Oh I missed it :( forgot it was on, was energy discussed much?..
Urgh Farage, he's so annoying... not looking forward to his smarmy mug on my tellybox. |
It was a bit, wasn't one of the earlier main questions but they talked about it when someone asked if the wind turbines and solar panels they've been putting up in Cornwall and benefiting energy costs
|
Quote:
But its shown Again many times today at 10AM BBC2, for a start Farage is on Next Week in Boston. |
Quote:
They did discuss energy but in a more round the houses sort of way, nothing really got at as to energy really. |
Well the BBC have been told to toe the party line haven't they?...
Won't rock the boat now. |
It's repeated on BBC2 now, not impressed with the shadow energy secretary... too tory like for me.

Yes it needed a Farage to spoke it up. Also why have a LibDem that was sacked from the Front Bench? |
We do not need a grinning fool, question time is becoming a bit of a joke if it keeps rolling out these comedic individuals who have no idea what was, is or will be good for the UK.
