Wtf does that mean ?? Well different states were given more or less of these Electoral College votes depending on their perceived importance. It means the popular vote in States like California will always tip toward the Democrats and the popular vote in Texas will always swing towards the republicans. So the losing popular votes on these states count for nothing.

What a farce as the whole election boils down to winning the popular vote in just a few swing states..!!!

Get rid of this ridiculous outdated undemocratic system and replace it with a one person one vote = most votes wins system...!!!

ours is even worse. proportional representation has just been slung out of parliament again

LOL. One of the voting machines was glitched. Whenever someone tried press "Obama" it ticked "Romney".
