Has Rylan apologised for upsetting her in the first place?

Surely as adults you know when to clap and smile and when not to? It was her whole demeanour that was inappropriate.

Clearly Speidi are the better people apologising to clear the air, when infact the screeching Romford fishwife should have been apologising to them for willfully misinterpreting the claps in a desperate bid for more air time.

Speidi weren't even clapping about Claire. Rylan got the wrong end of the stick. He should say sorry for his rant at them. It was out of order.

Yeah I know :D

Rylan was going for the hero edit. He could have easily asked what Heidi was clapping about instead of jumping down her throat.

Did he even comfort Claire? I just remember him moving about the place, ranting in a very OTT way.

No matter what they were clapping at, it was inexcusable and plain rude.

Rylan will never apologize to them, even though he was in the wrong. It really annoys me. :bored:

They are not better than you. They realised they had gone too far and apologised because they want to win.
They did not mean a word of their apology and think it funny that Claire did.
You are honest when you said you would not have apologised. Dont apologise if you do not mean it.

You are forgetting that we as the viewer get to see and hear everyone clearly, with closeup camera shots, it's not the same as being in that situation.

Heidi did not clap because Claire didn't get her letter, she clapped because after each team had their reulsts read out they all clapped, then when theirs was read out she clapped, at that very moment Rylan went into angry camp out mode then Claire starts crying (even though she had already known that they didn't do the task, (she even started crying as they were going into to do the task) Spencer's attention is drawn to Rylan as he shouts to Heidi not to clap, and he starts clapping to back her up.

You might think Rylan was sticking up for Claire, but he was actually trying to make himself look like the hero, but in fact he was just causing her more distress.

That's inappropriate

Yep. That's exactly what happened. Rylan turned an uncomfortable situation into World War 3. And I don't blame Spencer for getting mad and clapping after Rylan screamed at his wife not to clap like that

If this was the case, which I don't believe, why did they go into the bedroom straight after and laugh about themselves clapping and everyone not reading their letters? If they were not clapping for what Rylan claimed they were, why did they not say something at the time or when they were alone in the bedroom together? They have consistently said things and then backtracked when they feel that they might have gone too far. They play the pantomime villains very well but I think they don't know when to stop and think about what they are saying and how they behave might affect other people. The letter task was probably only going to separate them for an hour or so - is that really too long? They say that the other HMs hate them but they have all said they like them and tried to include them. When it suits them they say that the HMs hate them and they even told Big Brother on Friday (I think) that they liked the housemates. Another contradiction

Great post

I actually think most of them were irritating during letter-gate. Rylan took it too far and I'm getting sick of him speaking over everyone else (still like him, but less and less), Claire needs to stop bawling every 10s, Speidi behaved like the tacky areseholes they really are and Tricia is all talk and no action.

Spencer laughed at Heidi because her clapping provoked a hysterical response from Rylan. Why do they have to say something at the time? Rylan was in full flow effing and blinding like an old fishwife, desperate for a row (air time) and the hero edit. Speidi walking away was exactly what he deserved. How do you know that they didn't say something in the bedroom? The bedroom scene was like 40 seconds long.

So they contradict themselves? Rylan was going to shun them completey until he slept on it. Not actually sure what the big deal is here
