SkyNews - Yorkshire - Utter Fact
that place has Closed due to FSA and Police

The FSA has shut down Peter Boddy Licensed Slaughterhouse in Todmorden, West Yorkshire, while it investigates allegations that it supplied horse caracasses to a meat business in Wales.

Could Boddy Slaughters supply Dalepack - yes possible

The Owner claims he knows nothing?

So it could be his Dodgy workers
He must have CCTV there

The FSA have traced it to him
In the UK all meats Dodgy or Legal can be tracked

Latest from SkyNews Live

Rubbish, it's a nationwide thing, over the next few days watch as reports come in of this practice up and down the UK...
Suppliers from the EU and the UK have been found to be passing horse as beef to food producers. You think the south is some kind of safehaven?...wake up arista!

''The UK's horsemeat scandal was in "large part" the result of a switch from UK to foreign meat suppliers in 2012 caused by an abrupt change in European regulation that the government failed to contest, according to the expert who led the Food Standards Agency's (FSA) surveillance programme for a decade.

The change meant that "desinewed meat" (DSM), a fine mince rubbed under pressure from carcasses, could no longer be called meat on packaging. DSM produced in the UK was the main ingredient in most value-range burgers, sausages, pies and kebabs and the change meant that thousands of tonnes of meat had to be sourced from elsewhere and at low cost.''

I don't mind paying a bit more for a good quality product. I wouldn't buy anything too cheap. I'm always suspicious of that.

We had a problem in our company last year. Some workers were contaminating the products. Our bosses called the police and sorted it out. Thank god for that! I almost lost my job because of them! :nono:

Kizzy 13-02-2013 10:46 AM

Me too vanessa :yuk:
Arista that's the point, if they had have listed the ingredients then it would have been obvious that that they were scourcing from outside the UK.
The article suggests that to supply the food demanded for UK consumption of 'value' products as DSM was no longer an option, where did the FSA think all this product was coming from?....
